Chashme Buddoor is one of those sweet, simple films that never gets old. Directed by Sai Paranjpye, this 1981 rom-com had the perfect mix of innocence, humor, and relatable characters. It starred Farooq Sheikh, Deepti Naval, Rakesh Bedi, Ravi Baswani and Saeed Jaffrey — and their chemistry was just effortless.
The story is about three bachelor friends living in Delhi. Two of them fall in love with a girl at first sight but completely fail to impress her. Meanwhile, their simple and sincere friend quietly wins her heart. When the other two find out, they get jealous and try to create misunderstandings between the couple — and that’s where all the fun begins.
The film beautifully captures Delhi’s vibe, student life, and that carefree bachelor phase. Deepti Naval’s “Chamko” washing powder scenes were so popular that she was nicknamed “Miss Chamko”! Saeed Jaffrey even spent time with real paan sellers to perfect his role — and people actually thought he was a real paanwala.
It released in 1981, became a hit, and is now a cult classic. It was later remade, including a 2013 version directed by David Dhawan.

Such a lovely family moment of Johnny Lever with his wife Sujatha and their kids, Jamie and Jesse. Johnny may be famous for making the whole country laugh, but here you can see his softer, loving side as a husband and father. Sujatha has always been his biggest support, standing by him through every phase of his journey. Jamie shines with her own comic talent, clearly following in her dad’s footsteps, while Jesse adds his creative touch as a musician and actor. This picture shows not just a celebrity family, but a warm, close-knit one filled with love, laughter, and togetherness. It’s a sweet reminder that behind all the fame and success, family always comes first.

Before stardom, before gloss and gossip, there was simply sisterhood, little Lolo already carrying that protective elder sister air and baby Bebo clinging on with wide eyes and inherited confidence, a frame that captures Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor at their most unguarded, wrapped in 80s innocence, hand-me-down smiles and a shared surname heavy with legacy; this is the Kapoor family before careers took shape, when love was uncomplicated, rivalry harmless, and dreams still whispered, proof that long before awards, opinions and headlines, there were two sisters growing up together, shaping each other, holding hands quietly as the world slowly prepared to watch them grow.

A rare and lovely collage of Amrish Puri with his family, showing a side of him we didn’t often get to see. On screen, he was powerful, intense, and unforgettable — the man who defined villain roles for generations. But off screen, he was calm, private, and deeply attached to his family life.
Despite acting in over 450 films and ruling the 80s and 90s with his strong screen presence and booming voice, Amrish Puri remained grounded. He loved simple living, meaningful conversations, theatre, and reading. Family was always his safe space away from the glare of fame.
This collage beautifully reminds us that behind the legendary characters was a warm, respectful man who valued relationships more than applause. Even today, his performances feel fresh and powerful, and his legacy continues to live on — not just in cinema, but in the hearts of his loved ones and fans alike.

Together, they raised three children—Heeba (from Naseer’s first marriage), Imaad, and Vivaan—fostering a home where creativity and free thought were encouraged,Beyond their personal life, the duo has been a formidable force in Indian theatre through their troupe, Motley Productions, founded in 1979 alongside Tom Alter. Whether it is their collaborative stage performances or individual cinematic milestones—like Naseeruddin’s legendary roles in Masoom and Iqbal, or Ratna’s iconic portrayal of Maya Sarabhai—they have consistently prioritized quality over commercial trends...✨
