We are proud to share that Ms. Nitika, associated with EDMRC Kangra and EduCARE Dharamshala as an Aapda Mitra, has received an invitation to attend the Republic Day ceremony on 26 January 2026 at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi.
This recognition reflects not only her personal dedication but also the continuous guidance, support, and capacity-building role of DDMA Kangra and HPSDMA in strengthening grassroots disaster preparedness and volunteer engagement.

देहरा क्षेत्र की बेटी नीतिका ने बढ़ाया प्रदेश का मान
देहरा उप-मंडल की नीतिका ने अपने सेवा भाव, समर्पण और कर्मठता से पूरे कांगड़ा जिले को गौरवान्वित किया है। आपदा मित्र के रूप में पिछले तीन वर्षों से उनकी निस्वार्थ सेवाएं आज राष्ट्रीय पहचान बन चुकी हैं।
26 जनवरी को राष्ट्रपति भवन, नई दिल्ली में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में आमंत्रण मिलना उनकी मेहनत और सेवा भावना का सम्मान है।
नीतिका की यह उपलब्धि हम सभी के लिए प्रेरणादायक है और प्रदेश की बेटियों की प्रतिबद्धता और काबिलियत को दर्शाती है।

The 1st batch of 67 Yuva Aapda Mitra from 7 college clubs of National Service Scheme and Rovers & Rangers (Bharat Scouts & Guides) complete their 1-week training at our Emergency & Disaster Management Resource Centre (EDMRC Kangra). Kudos to the EDMRC Kangra and Aapda Mitra trainers for the leadership, and gratitude to the DDMA Kangra, DIAG Kangra, Govt Degree College Matour, HPSDRF, Home Guards, Civil Defence & Fire Services, NDRF Jassur, and RMC Mcleodganj, and for the able support.
