It has been observed that under following Revenue Villages Mission Basundhara 2.0 zero/no application submitted.
So, the respected eligible public/citizens belonging to the following Revenue Villages are requested to utilize and apply for the services of the Mission Basundhara 2.0 immediately. They may also visit the Public Facilitation Center alongwith their Aadhar Card and mobile phone having Aadhar linked mobile number opposite to Circle Office(PFC) under ARTPS Act for assistance and submission of the applications.

Public are also requested to attend a special gaon sabha which is going to be organised on 20/02/2023 in the concerned GPs for awareness regarding the services.

As a baby step towards the conservation of the rapidly declining Asian Elephant species (IUCN listed- endangered, 2020) having the second highest population in Assam, India, the largest terrestrial mammal on earth, slowest breeder, a stakeholder's meeting on conservation of the said animal has been held on 27.09.2022 in Latithila BSF BOP Camp, Patharkandi, Karimganj alongwith the local Panchayat elected representatives of Medley, Putni and Kukital GPs in presence of CCF, Barak valley, DFO, Karimganj, Circle Officer, Patharkandi, BSF Camp commandant, ACF, RO, Forest Department, Pathini TE owner, officials of district vetenary department, WWF- Assam representatives, invited renowned College professors and research scholars expert on the subject matter to discuss about the proposal of introduction of a male elephant among the population of existing female elephants in an attempt to increase their population in a sustainable manner which shall be monitored using strict surveillance.

As a result of such an initiative, various anticipating issues concerning to the minimising of man-elephant conflict, speedy disbursal of compensation to the next of kin of person having lost lives/injured or loss of property due to animal, recognising elephant corridors, safety and security of human lives , crops, properties, notifying volunteer comittees comprising local people( Gaja Mitra) for conservation of the said animal and other pros & cons were thoroughly discussed and addressed in the said meeting among other things.

A Circle level meeting has been organised today 17.09.2022 in connection with peaceful celebration of upcoming Durga Puja and Kali Puja 2022 at the office of the Circle Officer, Patharkandi which was attended by OC, Patharkandi PS, OC , Bazaricherra PS, President's/Secretaries of various Puja committees, leading senior citizens, leading media personalities, journalists, local block level political functionaries, and representatives of APDCL, PHE, PWD(TR), F&ES among others.

Land owners/pattadars/tenants/legal occupants of the villages mentioned in the letter and whose land comes under the ambit of IGGL RoW are requested to contact the field official of IGGL/ Lot Amins of Circle office or directly visit/approach Circle Office "IGGL cell", Patharkandi and submit their relevant land documents only to authorised IGGL official deputed in Circle office during official hours on working days for cross-checking land records and if necessary update the same to be eligible for Right Of Way compensation as per laid down government guidelines.

Exhibition of newspaper clippings, images from the partition organised in Patharkandi College today on 14.08.2022 to mark the Partition Horrors Remembrance Day August 14( বিভাজন বিভীষিকা স্মৃতি দিৱস) and bring to light the agony, suffering and pain of millions of people who were displaced and lost their lives during partition before independence.

Our Salute to the sons and daughters who suffered and sacrificed their lives during the partion of India.
