In India, which posses an Islamic spiritual background since centuries ago. Majlis Educational and Charitable Trust (registered as Majlisu Shifau Saaqafath Al-Islami) foundation stone for this institution was laid on 15th September 2002 at Manhampara under the presence of religious and ideological leaders.

Manahampara was a small village with a population of less than 1500. The religious scholar, visionary, agriculturist and social worker Mr. Sayyed Muhammad Ashraf Thangal M.P, realizing the importance and need for education, protect orphans and minorities.

The Trust aimed to provide the community a socio-cultural development especially in a time of much strain and stress, disintegration, etc. In its short span of time, Majlis Group of Institutions achieved a better goal in its educational assistance programmed.
