Strong Protest Held in Kishtwar by INDIA Bloc Against EC Gyanesh Kumar

A strong protest was held in Kishtwar by the INDIA Bloc under the leadership of National Conference District President Tanveer Ahmed Kichloo, District Congress Committee President P. L. Shan, former Minister G. M. Saroori, and PDP District President Ishtiaq Ahmed Waza, along with senior leaders and workers of the alliance.

During the protest, leaders raised concerns regarding the functioning of the Election Commission under Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and called for a free, fair, transparent and impartial electoral process.

A large number of INDIA Bloc leaders, workers and supporters participated in the protest, raising slogans and reaffirming their commitment to democratic values, electoral integrity, and the rights of the people

MP Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo Provides ₹1.30 Lakh Personal Relief; Assures ₹13 Lakh Assistance through MPLADS

Hon’ble Rajya Sabha MP Shri Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo today visited Mungli village in Warwan, where 13 families were affected by a recent fire incident.

The Hon’ble MP met the affected families, listened to their grievances and took stock of the losses suffered by them. As immediate personal relief, he provided ₹10,000 each to all 13 affected families, amounting to ₹1.30 lakh.

Shri Kichloo further assured ₹1 lakh per affected household, totaling ₹13 lakh, through MPLADS, subject to applicable rules and approval by the competent authorities.

He assured the affected families of continued support and urged the concerned authorities to provide all eligible relief and rehabilitation assistance at the earliest.

“In this difficult hour, we stand firmly with the affected families and will make every possible effort to support their rehabilitation,” Shri Kichloo said.

MP Rajya Sabha Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo Sb expressed his deep sympathy and solidarity with the families affected by the devastating fire incident in Warwan, Kishtwar, where around 10 houses were gutted.

He spoke with the Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar, and urged the administration to ensure immediate relief, assistance and necessary support for the affected families.

He expressed concern over the loss suffered by the victims and assured that the matter would be taken up with the concerned authorities for all possible assistance.
