In the year 2014 Home & Hill Affairs Department vide its Notification no. 841-Home(Cons.)/R2R(Cons.)-05/2014 merged two department Industrial Reconstruction (IR) Department and Public Enterprises (PE) Department to form Public Enterprises & Industrial Reconstruction (PE & IR) Department.
OBJECTIVES : PE & IR Department was formed to resurrect industrial units in the State that have turned sick or weak or have been forced to close down and to Play nodal role in restructuring of State PSEs.
