TSSF CALCUTTA EAST organised

✨ Mental Health Workshop ✨

For the first time ever, our chapter organised a Mental Health Workshop, where we enthusiastically welcomed our members and their friends in this workshop to learn how to deal and overcome with the silent problems they go through in their day to day life. 🤝🏻

Our speaker, *Farha Naaz* who is pursuing Msc. in Clinical Psychology and an Elite certificate holder from IIT Kanpur on Cognitive Psychology. 💫
She conducted the whole workshop and it proved to be a dynamic and enriching experience, fostering a collaborative atmosphere for all participants. 🤍
The session began with an introduction of the workshop by Ant Saqeeb, setting the tone for the day's exploration.

Throughout the workshop, interactive and psychological activities provided a platform for shared insights and diverse perspectives. The speaker skillfully guided the participants through the material, ensuring clarity and understanding. Notably, the workshop not only strengthened theoretical concepts but also encouraged practical application. 🥰🥰

We thank all the Participants for being so patient and attentive throughout the whole session and also all the volunteers who helped in establishing the whole workshop so beautifully. 🫶🏻

TSSF Calcutta East celebrated the spirit of universal brotherhood by distributing sweaters to children along with some chocolates to the less fortunate little angels before Diwali and Winter.

☃️ 80 Sweaters were distributed.

TSSF Calcutta East conducted a online session on Mastering Excel & ChatGPT to demostrate the hidden potentials of the powerful spreadsheet software and the revolutionary AI tool.

With the help our member, Ant Sazzad Zaffar having 18 years of industry expertise.

35 participants joined to learn a new perspective on how to give prompts and get the best out of it.

We look forward to organizing more workshops in the future to further educate and empower our society.

On the Peace Day of Prophet Muhammad Week, TSSF Calcutta East took a meaningful step to deliver *Hadiths* of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to the heart of our city.

In collaboration with *15 dedicated auto rickshaw drivers* who traverse these four long routes daily:

1) Panchannagram - Paddapukur
2) Parkcircus - Dharmatalla
3) Tangra - Sealdah
4) Topsia - Parkcircus

Few banners were placed in our localities as well.

During Prophet Muhammad Week (PMW), we extended our gratitude to unsung heroes with the help of our donors and volunteers:

1. Donated food boxes to 12 sanitation workers.
2. Provided sun protection sleeves to 10 traffic police and 10 delivery riders.
3. Gave beautiful earrings to 190 compassionate nurses.
4. Recognized 24 underground metro staff at 7 stations with food boxes.

By the grace of Allah, We conducted a workshop on *Menstrual Awareness* 🌺 for the underprivileged women of slum under Education Day of Prophet Muhammad Week (PBUH).

The workshop was conducted to discussed the stigma and misconceptions surrounding menstruation and create awareness regarding hygiene and how it affects the daily lives of women.

The interactive nature of the session encouraged open discussions around menstrual health, followed by an opportunity for the participants for a 101 session with Dr. Wasifa.

100 sanitary napkins were distributed by TSSF Calcutta East.

Alhamdulillah! We successfully conducted an Eye Check-Up Camp on Sunday, 8th October 2023 on the occasion of Health Day under Prophet Muhammad Week (pbuh). With the help of two skilled Optometrists, we were able to examine the eyes of 60 children and 15 parents, ensuring their visual health and well-being.
