The Calcutta Care Club presents to you - "Ushnota" - 2022-23.

Ushnota has been a flagship event for The Calcutta Care Club (earlier "Team Anudaan") which has only been serving more needy people since last year, owing to the immense support that we have received from caring social contributors as you.

Through the Ushnota Drive, like every other year, we are organizing a Blanket Donation Drive for the Street Dwellers and we cannot accomplish our goals on our own. Like every other year, we are expecting some contributions from your side to carry it out.

Team Anudaan and Rotaract Club of Calcutta North Suburban organized an old clothes distribution at a slum area near Bally Halt - Howrah, West Bengal.

We sincerely thank the members of Rotaract Club of Calcutta North Suburban and members of Team Anudaan for their hard work and support, and for coming together to collect the clothes from far-off places in Kolkata.

We aspire to keep serving the society in every way possible to create a better future for all!

Team Anudaan ("Team") shall undergo a rebuild process, and shall be aiming to secure registration as a "Non-profit Organization" in order to work actively on-ground, and across sectors.

We tried our best to connect every requirement to the leads during the second and third wave of the pandemic. Anudaan not only has a PAN-India reach today, but is a worldwide name. I remember those nights when we received calls for help - from Kolkata to Bangalore, from Paris to Auckland - cries to reach out to their elderly parents/loved ones suffering from COVID, here back home.

The Team did it all, from overcoming obstacles, to becoming a miracle in the lives of the people.

Team Anudaan and Rotaract Club of Calcutta North Suburban jointly presents "USHNOTA" - Phase 1, an initiative to distribute stationeries, masks and food kits among the children at an underprivileged school, on 8th February 2022.

This is to inform you that Team Anudaan and the Rotaract Club of Calcutta North Suburban have jointly decided to halt the distribution of clothes under the joint initiative of "USHNOTA", considering the high risk involved for the children, primarily, as well as that for the distributing team.

Keeping good health and maintaining the COVID protocols remains to be our top-most priority, but unfortunately, the high rise and spread of COVID in the current situation shall cause a huge risk to both the parties, the distributing team and most importantly, the receiving party, i.e., the children.

However, we are also glad to inform you at the same time, that we would be going ahead with the stationeries distribution at an underprivileged school in Barasat, and would strictly maintain all necessary COVID protocols to limit the risk of infection during the process of such distribution, and this distribution shall be considered as USHNOTA - Phase 1.

The date and time of such distribution shall be conveyed soon.
