ARES Group & ARCCS VU2GIN helped creating the Guinness World Record of most students assembling radio kits simultaneously on the third day of India International Science Festival here on 7th November 2019

While 490 students participated in the event, a record 268 succeeded in completing the assembling process in the stipulated hours.

A representative of the Guinness World Records presented a certificate and memento to Union Minister of Science and Technology Shri Harsh Vardhan who took it on behalf of the students.
The minister congratulated 'young scientific minds" and said he is proud of them.

12 November 2017 - Formal Launch of ARES Group and dedication to the nation by Shri Jayant Bhide (VU2JAU), Coordinator of Disaster Communications, in presence of ARES Group Leader Dr. M. Nuruzzaman (VU3YOH), MLA of West Bengal, Shri Probodh Ranjan Biswas, State Organizing Commissioner (Scout) and Victor Singh (VU2XDG), Principal of the Assembly of God Church School, Park Street. To mark the occasion, an India Post MyStamp was released.
