Yesterday we had been a part of TABO JAYAGANE-2.
Kudos to this powerful presentation by esteemed Srijan Chatterjee and respected Mounita Chatterjee!
This was a tribute to the Indian cultural heritage with Mahisashuramardini, a welcome note to Devi Durga in advance!
Decades ago, reverred Birendrakrishna Bhadra and respected musician, Shree Pankaj Kumar Mallick presented an eternal demonstration of the stotras in Sanskrit followed by the songs ,sung by veteran singers of Bengal. Mr.Srijan Chatterjee recreated this in his own baritone voice with his team. Madam Mounita added a special flavour to the show with her wonderful depiction of Goddess Durga.

आप सदा रहें खुशहाल यही दुआ है हर बार
चमन में खिलें फूल ज़हन में महके गुलाब..!

Unseen boundaries

Fences are fragile ,yet you fear
To save and tape the box
With shattered bonds,and velvet drapes
That treasured the golden locks.

Brave and bold always climb the hill
The invisible border they cross
But lines are there,though unseen
Expectations become the boss.

Heart hardly stops anyone
Feelings overflow like river
It may cause the flood that drowns
The mind to get a shiver.

Some walls are like hidden pearls
The oysters save them well
Though unnoticed, they curb your freedom
To help you out in gale.
