Union Minister Shri Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh and MoS Prof. S. P. Singh Baghel conferred the on 42 outstanding Panchayats from across the country at a ceremony held today in New Delhi.

34 Gram Panchayats were honoured under the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Panchayat Satat Vikas Puraskar and 8 under the Nanaji Deshmukh Sarvottam Panchayat Satat Vikas Puraskar category. There the Gyalshing Omchung, Gram Panchayet of Sikkim State received the 3rd Prize Award on “Poverty-Free & Enhanced Livelihoods Panchayat” under West Bengal Circle.

Awardee Panchayats also shared their best practices and achievements, proving that strong local leadership remains the backbone of a developed India.

🚀 Driving Innovation and Modernization at West Bengal Postal Circle! 📮

We are thrilled to announce a major leap forward in our fleet capabilities and technical training. Today, Shri Ashok Kumar, Chief Postmaster General, West Bengal Circle, alongside Shri Riju Ganguly, PMG South Bengal Region, and Shri Gopichand Ramteke, Manager MMS, inaugurated a new Innova Crysta for the Hon’ble CPMG and proudly flagged off 10 new Mail Motor Service (MMS) vehicles to enhance our delivery network.

In a brilliant display of "Wealth from Waste," the event also featured the unveiling of a fully functional Automobile Training Test Bench built by MMS Kolkata entirely from scrap workshop components. This innovative prototype will provide our artisans and newly recruited MTS staff with essential, hands-on training in vehicle systems and fault diagnosis. By upskilling our workforce in-house, we are actively reducing vehicle breakdowns and driving greater maintenance efficiency across the board. Kudos to the MMS team for this fantastic initiative!

The West Bengal Circle, Department of Posts successfully hosted its Annual Business Plan Meet 2026, a high-energy session focused entirely on driving business growth and setting a clear roadmap for the months ahead.

The high level meet was conducted under the chairmanship of of Shri Ashok Kumar, Chief Postmaster General, West Bengal Circle and the guidance of Shri Supriyo Ghosh, DDG (PMU), Postal Directorate. The meeting was conducted in the presence of Shri C.L. Lalfakzuala, PMG, North Bengal Region; Shri Riju Ganguly, PMG, South Bengal Region and the officers and officials of Department of Posts. From improving customer service to adopting better operational practices, the focus remained steady on making postal services more efficient and competitive.

২. আপনার বৈধ আইডি কার্ডটি (Student's I-Card) সাথে রাখুন (পাঠকের নাম ও আইডিতে নাম একই হওয়া প্রয়োজন)।
৩. লক্ষ্যবস্তু অবশ্যই একটি স্বীকৃত শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠান বা নিয়োগকারী সংস্থা হতে হবে।
৪. আপনার পার্সেল বা খামটিতে "Student Mail" কথাটি লিখে দিন।

আপনার গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ফরমগুলো দ্রুত এবং নিরাপদে পাঠাতে স্পীড পোস্টের ওপর ভরসা রাখুন। নিশ্চিন্তে আপনার লক্ষ্যের দিকে এগিয়ে চলুন! 🌟
