“The Borderman” embodies the men and women of the Border Security Force . India is their Karmabhoomi . They guard our borders and not frequently seen by the vast Indian milieu, their larger than life persona pervades the borderscape , in mountains, plains, deserts, marshes and in protected game sanctuaries straddling the borders. Their soldiers patrol the borders on foot, in all terrain vehicles, on the camel back, astride a horse and in boats.

LOK SABHA SPEAKER SMT MEIRA KUMAR TOOK SALUTE OF THE BSF DAY PARADE 2013


Border Security Force, an elite force of the country celebrated its 48th BSF Day. An impressive parade and march past by 11 Frontiers Contingent, Camel contingent, Camel Band and Mahila contingent marked the Raising Day Parade 2013 of the Border Security Force at Chhawla Camp, Delhi. Hon’ble Lok Sabha Speaker Smt Meira Kumar took salute and inspected the parade as the chief guest on the occasion.
During the ceremony, Hon’ble Chief guest Smt Meira Kumar released two books. One is the BSF Annual Magazine – “Bordermen”. The magazine is a collection of stories of accomplishments by our soldiers who have given their blood and sweat for the country. Another one is “Amazing Camelry Cavalry & Canines of the Border Security Force”.

लोकसभा अध्यक्ष श्रीमती मीरा कुमार ने बीएसएफ दिवस परेड 2013 की सलामी ली


सीमा सुरक्षा बल, देश की एक विशिष्ट बल अपनी 48 वीं बीएसएफ दिवस मनाया. 11 फ्रंटियर्स द्वारा एक प्रभावशाली परेड और मार्च पास्ट, ऊंट आकस्मिक, कैमल बैंड और महिला आकस्मिक Chhawla शिविर, दिल्ली में सीमा सुरक्षा बल के स्थापना दिवस परेड 2013. माननीय लोकसभा अध्यक्ष श्रीमती मीरा कुमार ने सलामी ली और इस अवसर पर मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में परेड का निरीक्षण किया.
समारोह के दौरान, माननीय मुख्य अतिथि श्रीमती मीरा कुमार ने दो पुस्तकों का विमोचन किया. एक बीएसएफ वार्षिक पत्रिका है - "Bordermen". जो हमारे सैनिकों द्वारा उपलब्धियों की कहानियों का संग्रह है. एक और "सीमा सुरक्षा बल का कमाल ऊँट - सवार सेना कैवलरी और कुत्तों" है.
