A truly special and memorable day for KMN Environmental Impact Pvt. Ltd. at Autumn Fair 2026, NEC Birmingham! 🌍♻️

We were honoured to welcome Dr. Venkatachalam Murugan, Hon’ble Consul General of India in Birmingham, to our stall at Stand 6H57, in the presence of Dr. Sanjiv Layek, Executive Secretary, WASME.

It was a wonderful opportunity to share our journey of transforming post-consumer textile waste and discarded garments into sustainable, desirable and commercially viable products through our flagship brands:

💼 RagBag® – turning discarded textiles into functional and stylish bags and lifestyle products.

🌈 FabRag™ – transforming recovered textiles into distinctive Kaleidoscopic Hoodies and circular fashion.

We were privileged to present Dr. Murugan with a RagBag® Laptop Bag and a FabRag™ Kaleidoscopic Hoodie as a small token representing our commitment to circularity, innovation and sustainable Indian craftsmanship.

For us, this moment is much more than a ceremonial interaction. It represents the opportunity to take an Indian circular-economy innovation to global markets and demonstrate that sustainability can create both environmental impact and economic opportunity.

Today is a moment of gratitude, pride, and reflection for KMN Environmental Impact Pvt Ltd.

What we have achieved today is truly the fruit of years of hard work, perseverance, and unwavering dedication. Being recognised at the Demo Day and Valedictory Ceremony of the Bengal Business Accelerator Program (BBAP) – Cohort 2, held on 14th January 2026 at Tata Hall, IIM Calcutta Campus, is a milestone we will always cherish.

This journey would not have been possible without the support and guidance of IIM Calcutta Innovation Park MSME Department of the Government of West Bengal, and the World Bank–aided RAMP Scheme. The BBAP platform helped us refine our vision, strengthen our foundation, and prepare ourselves to scale our impact with confidence.

From transforming textile waste into sustainable lifestyle products to creating livelihoods and driving climate action, this recognition reassures us that we are on the right path. It motivates us to work even harder and stay committed to building a circular, inclusive, and climate-positive future.
