!! हरे कृष्ण हरे कृष्ण..Zero constant Negativity(Fear is our worst enemy. It keeps on taking toll of our peace of mind. Sometimes, it is based on just figments of our imagination. This happens when we tread immoral grounds and do not follow the path of truth.
Fear continues to chase us till we are at peace with our inner self. This
state of mind is attainable only when we are free from fear. Fear, it is said, has many eyes and can see things underground. We are afraid w...hen we have done something wrong. That is, to deviate from the straight path is to invite fear. Adhering to the path of truth is difficult but paying in terms of peace of mind. It is for this reason that importance is given to ‘confession’ before the Lord so that we may feel free from the feeling of guilt. Gandhi’s most important achievement was adherence to the truth in all circumstances.
There is a popular tale of a meditating ‘security guard’ that demonstrates the root-cause of fear and the way to eliminate it. Once the Enlightened One (incarnation of Lord Buddha) was born in a rich family. When he grew up, he became dissatisfied with the pleasures of the world and proceeded to the foothills of the Himalayas and became a holy man.
One day, some bandits came. They planned to start their job of robbing a caravan during night. But before they could attack the caravan, they noticed the holy man and took him for a guard and waited for him to sleep. As the holy man was in deep meditation, the robbers thought he was awake and the whole night was over. Disgusted, they left the place.
Realising the situation, they rushed to the holy man and asked him, “Weren’t you scared of the bandits? No, said the holy man, “the sight of the bandits is only frightening for the rich. I am not scared because I follow the path of truth. And I own nothing of value to robbers).......राम राम हरे हरे !!.
