In connection with our planning to organize "Research Writing Course" under the mentorship of experienced SEBA Life Members including Editorial Board Members, it is felt to develop study/ course materials on diverse skill development aspects, issues and approaches for this unique course. Some pertinent aspects are reflected hereunder.

1. Principles, procedures, purpose and selection of the journal / publisher.
2. Topic, title and contents of the work proposed revealing wise choice.

3. Literature consultation - Library and internet sources, its style and context.

4. Materials and Method of Research/ Dissertation work - decision making.

5. Plagiarism detection and Publication ethics including error detection.

6. Rechecking and Review of the text and References as per style.

7. Authorship limitation and transparency, and Acknowledgement

8. Copyright concern and conflicts of interest, and disclosure of information.

9. Who can write a Review paper and its dimensions and present status.

10. Any other aspect of Research writing guidelines useful for the course.

Interested experts/ colleagues are requested to follow SEBA Journal's (JES) Guidelines to Contributors to contribute course articles/ materials, each of four to ten pages only, by 15th September, 2022 or before, for distribution, and/ or publishing as a special publication from SEBA.

A line intimating his/ her title of the write up by 21st August, 2022 will be highly appreciated. However, the following expert colleagues are especially requested to consider writing on the suggested topic or may contribute based on their own choice.

7. Dr. Subir Bandyopadhyay - Taxonomic principles and scientific names.

8. Dr. Abhijit Mitra - Dissertation / Research paper writing

9. Dr. Mrinal Mukherjee - Data collection, Interview and Scripting

10. Dr. Sujit Pal - Statistical procedures and its application.

11. Dr. Mitu De - Innovative approaches of research interests

12. Dr. Subrata Trivedi - Modern tools and Techniques
