5th Sept. 2012 - It was Teacher's day. Bengal lost a young fiery life & a magnificent soul to Dengue... Bappaditya Majhi - A Teacher, Scholar & an excellent human being Dept. of Geography, Ballygunge Science College, Calcutta University, teaching fraternity and Kolkata ever had. An awesome friend & a great brother lost the battle to dengue not because of the parasite but because of a parasitic system of private medical establishments in Kolkata, due to sheer negligence of treatment and ineptitude of some unqualified medical personnel - Taken from us on this very Teacher's Day... I have suffered quite a number of loses & have lived with that weight in my Life. A lot of them eased out after some time. But Bappa's demise was a very bad blow to a psych which outweighed many ordeals. It still feels that it had a left a lump I never could gulp down!

We always keep remembering him & his last few words before the last Conference at CU.

"Do you really think the ones whom we have truly loved, respected & cared about & who is worthy of it all ever truly leave us...! "
- Never.... We Believe!

Bappa, You will live through us & will live on in our memories & your deeds in our stories ! We miss "Bappa's Relative Theories" so much, still now... 6 yrs after you are gone those are fresh in my mind ! U were a person of the highest potential i had ever known !

Rest In Peace Brother and Return If Possible....

You are immortal !
