RC Kamarhati organised COTS(Club Officers Training Seminar) on 5th July 2025 during the 1st Regular Weekly Meeting of RY 2025-26.Assistant Governor Rtn Sundeep Singhal and Zonal Secretary Rtn Aloke Kr Sarkar along with our Club Learning facilitator PP Rtn Biplab Sengupta conducted the COTS( now designated as COLS- Club Officers Learning Seminar).
As this was 1st meeting after Doctors day, Our club felicitated our Doctors and Doctor partners on the occasion.

Rotary club Kamarhati organised a Blood donation camp on Doctors day i.e.01 July2025 like previous years at IMA Hall, along with IMA Kamarhati Branch. Blood Bank of Calcutta National Medical College collected blood.

Rotary club Kamarhati had it’s 56th Installation ceremony on 23 June2025, Monday evening at It’s clinic building. District Governor 2025-26 Rtn Dr.Ramendu Homchoudhuri was chief Guest on the occasion. Rtn Amit kumar Bhattacharyya, an educationist and social worker was installed as 56th president of RC Kamarhati. District firstlady Rtn Dr Bandana Homchoudhuri and galaxy of Past District Governors along with their partners and many other Rotary District officials graced the occasion.

Rotary Club Kamarhati Launches ‘SWAPNO PURAN’ Project to Empower Underprivileged Students with Free Government Job Exam Training

Kolkata, 6th July 2025 –
The Rotary Club of Kamarhati proudly launched its flagship educational initiative “SWAPNO PURAN” on 6th July 2025 at the Rotary Clinic Building, 22 & 23, Feeder Road, Basanta Bihar, Belgharia, Kolkata – 700056.

This visionary project, launched in collaboration with Achievement Competitive Institute, is dedicated to providing free coaching and training for various government job examinations to underprivileged and meritorious students across the region.

The SWAPNO PURAN Project covers a wide range of competitive examinations including:

1. West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC):

WBCS (West Bengal Civil Services)

WBPSC Clerkship

WBPSC Miscellaneous Services

2. Staff Selection Commission (SSC):

CGL (Combined Graduate Level)

CHSL (Combined Higher Secondary Level)

MTS, Stenographer, GD Constable

SSC JE and SSC JHT

3. Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS):

IBPS PO, Clerk, SO, and RRB

4. State Bank of India (SBI):

SBI PO, Clerk, and SO

5. Reserve Bank of India (RBI):

RBI Grade B and Assistant

The club also has ambitious plans to include training for UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) – including IAS, IPS, IFS, and other central services in future phases.

This project is a significant step towards educational empowerment and socio-economic upliftment. As the motto of the initiative affirms:
