We want to thank you 🙏 for committing to 7 Days of Prayer + Fasting with The JTM India Team. 💝 Because Jesus told us that “where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them” (Matt. 18:20), we know the Holy Spirit has been present and working during the last week of focused prayer, please do continue to pray for us as we begin tomorrow our annual retreat. 🔥

We can’t wait to celebrate all that our Heavenly Father is going to do in this Retreat! Together we can transform a weary, jaded community into a city on a hill: “YOU ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. A CITY SET ON A HILL CANNOT BE HIDDEN.” (Matt. 5:14).

We need labourers for the New Evangelization that John Paul called us to! 🔥

As the Holy Father observes, “God comes to us in the things we know best and can verify most easily, the things of our everyday life, apart from which we cannot understand ourselves” (Faith and Reason, n. 12). What do we know better, what can we verify more easily, what’s more “every day” than the experience of embodiment? This is where God meets us – in the flesh. And this is where we must meet the world in the new evangelization -through the message of TOB!

Day 6 – Ignite Us🔥
Father, we pray that You will ignite us! 🔥 Set our hearts on fire 🔥 with Your love 💖 so we may be able to love everyone as You have loved us. Fill us again with Your Holy Spirit, 🕊 give us boldness 💥 like never before, perfect our love 💝 so all fear is gone 🌊 and we can declare Your Word 📖 to those who are lost and in darkness.

Father, help us to set our affections on things above 💝 and not on things of this world. 🌏 This earth is temporary; ⏳ it is not our eternal home. Give us a passion, a stirring 💫 in our spirit to reach out and intercede 🙏 for those who desperately need Jesus in their lives. We want everyone we meet to know You, Your Truth, and unfailing love through your Word and the Message of TOB🎁 In Jesus’ name.

✨John 13:34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.

✨Colossians 3:2 Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.

✨1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.

“As I have loved you.” These words give us the most essential aspect of the Savior’s new commandment. “Love one another” is a real challenge, to be sure, but “as I have loved you” takes the commandment to an explicitly deeper level of action.

Perhaps we have never considered the matter, but after years of serving at JTM India I have realized that it is much easier to love than to be loved. When we are doing the loving, (Wether by serving or sharing the message of TOB with youth and families) we are in some way in control of things: we choose to love and whom to love and how to love them. The choice and object and manner of loving is up to us. Very many people become quite skilled at dispensing love. And this is very good; we could not do without it.

But “as I have loved you” tells another, deeper story: the story of One who took the initiative, and loved first, without any demand for a return of love; of One who loved freely and willed to leave those whom he loved likewise free. Christ first loved us, as the apostle says, “while we were yet sinners” —that is, when we were in no wise loveable. His love constitutes our loveableness.

Day 5 – Heart of Expectancy 💖
Lord Jesus we pray You will give us a heart of expectancy 💗for what You want to do in and through us this year for Your Kingdom! 💕Jesus helps us to not be complacent with where we are or where we’ve been, because You are God who makes all things new.

You make the crooked places straight and You’re able to do exceeding, abundantly, above all we could ever ask or think. ❤️ This is a new year and we expect greater things! We want to experience more lives transformed, 💝 more miracles manifested, but most of all more of You. Jesus, we want all You have for us, for Your glory, 🔥 in Your Name we pray. Amen.

✨2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

✨Revelation 21:5 “Behold, I make all things new.” Also he said, “Write this, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
✨Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

🔥 Morning Reflection on the Word of God!✨
Having outlined the frailty of man's flesh and the mysterious glory of Christ's cross, Paul reaches his climactic conclusion, that anyone, who is in union with Christ, by believing His finished work on Calvary paid the price for their sins, has been made a new creation. Trusting that Christ's death burial, and resurrection is the core of the glorious gospel... "THEREFORE, IF ANYONE IS IN CHRIST, HE IS A NEW CREATION. THE OLD HAS PASSED AWAY; BEHOLD, THE NEW HAS COME."

HUMAN BEINGS CAN MOLD THEIR FEELINGS, GRADUALLY, BY CONSCIOUS THOUGHTS AND CHOICES. If you’ve ever gone to therapy, you’ve experienced this: THINKING ABOUT SOMETHING DIFFERENTLY CHANGES HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT IT.

“The integration of love ❤️ requires the individual consciously and by acts of the will to impose a shape on all the material that sensual and emotional reactions provide.” -Love and Responsibility.

SO EVEN IF A MAN AND WOMAN ARE STRONGLY ATTRACTED TO EACH OTHER (BODILY AND EMOTIONALLY), IT IS THEIR CHOICES THAT WILL DETERMINE WHETHER LOVE WILL GROW. 💕

Day 4 – Heart of Humility❤️
Father, You exalt the humble at heart 💕 in due time and bring the haughty down. Lord, help us to not think more of ourselves than we ought to. 🙏 Keep us humble at Your feet Father, knowing we can do nothing apart from You. 💫 Everything we do should be done as unto the Lord. Keep our minds and our hearts 💖 focused on You in everything we desire and plan.

Father, help us to not trust in our own understanding, but acknowledge You in EVERYTHING. 🔥 We submit every area of our lives to Your Will Father. Our family, ✨friends, health, jobs, and finances and pray You will order our steps in the paths we should take. Wherever we are, we ask You to have Your way in us so we can experience You like never before.💞 In Jesus’ name we pray -Amen.

✨Proverbs 3:-6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths.

✨1 Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that in due time he may exalt you.

✨Ephesians 4:1-2 I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all lowliness and meekness, with patience, forbearing one another in love.

Proverbs 3:6 urges us to involve God in all our ways and this way, we give Him the freedom to direct our steps in the right direction. We are called to live in surrender to the Lord.

God's ways are perfect and He makes our ways secure and righteous. By the way we do things we are called to reflect God's ways. FOR WE ARE MADE IN HIS IMAGE AND LIKENESS: MALE AND FEMALE!

Day 3 – Pray for the Church 🥰

Jesus we pray for Your Bride -the Church, ⛪️ The Church You gave Your life for. ✝️ Thank You for the victory that is ours and belongs to us no matter the persecution we face. 💪 The gates of hell will not prevail. Help us to serve one another in love, 💝forgive one another, 💞 and edify one another ✨ for the building up of the saints. 😇

Help us to be doers of Your Word 📖 and not just hearers only, so we may show the younger generation how to live holy lives. 😇 Help us stand firm in our faith, not wavering, but firm on Your Word, and in the Catechesis of the Theology of the Body, 💖 enduring patiently and obeying all Your commands. Jesus, thank You for making Your Bride the Church 🔥 glorious, without spot or wrinkle or any other blemish. We will strive to learn from Mother Mary to be humble 🤲 like her and holy 😇 like You Lord. AMEN

✨Ephesians 5:25-27 Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.

✨Revelation 14:12 This means that God’s holy people must endure persecution patiently, obeying His commands and maintaining their faith in Jesus.

✨James 1:22 But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

Good morning Church!

Jesus offers us the Beatitudes and shows us how to turn negatives (poverty, hunger, hatred) into opportunities to show the special love that God has for those who suffer and feel left behind. This message of love ❤️ is for all people, and is a call for action to help others. But we need to understand that there are many different kinds of poverty, hunger and hatred. 😕
What can I do today to share God’s love with those who really need it? Can I identify a poverty that someone is suffering from, and this may be a poverty due to isolation or loneliness? Can I help someone who may be suffering from spiritual poverty, by using the gifts that God has given me?🔥

HEAVENLY FATHER PREPARE OUR HEARTS! 💕✨

Fasting – if you feel led, some will be fasting a meal or one day the week before in preparation. This is obviously not just skipping a meal(s) but that extra time spent seeking God. Please study Isaiah 58 for fasting that pleases God. Another option is to fast from something else for at least 30 min. that day, like the tv or computer and use that time pursuing God.
