Shri Dinesh Goyal, Chairman of the Books, Publications & Printing Panel, and Shri Sunil Kumar, Deputy Director, CAPEXIL, warmly welcome Dr. Deepak Mittal, Ambassador of India to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), on the occasion of the inauguration of the Indian Pavilion at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2026, held at ADNEC.
The CAPEXIL inauguration ceremony was attended by its participating members, along with librarians, teachers, principals, educators, publishing professionals, and other distinguished members of the academic and literary community.
The inauguration of the Indian Pavilion showcased India’s rich literary heritage, diverse publishing traditions, and growing presence in the global publishing landscape. The participation of educators, librarians, and academic leaders further highlighted the importance of books, reading, knowledge exchange, and educational collaboration in strengthening people-to-people connections.
The occasion reinforced the longstanding cultural and commercial ties between India and the UAE and provided a valuable platform for promoting Indian books, authors, publishers, and educational content at this prestigious international book fair.
Dr. Deepak Mittal, Ambassador, also visited the Indian booth. He encouraged the participants and gained a clear understanding of the business opportunities in the UAE.
