The School runs on the Elysian Philosophy of Rishi Aurobindo and Mother Mirra and seeks to provide the Right to Play of the marginalized and slum children.
Rishi Aurobindo & Mother Mirra Center Of Sporting Excellence (RA&MMCOSE) is run by the NGO "Satindra Smriti Samsad", Garia, Kolkata, West Bengal, a non-governmental , not-for-profit organization. RA&MMCOSE believes in the Elysian Philosophy of Rishi Aurobindo and Mother Mirra which celestially conveys to us the Nobel Truth that the physical body needs to be maintained in a healthy state otherwise
the power which pours in during spiritual experiences can lead to psycho-physical instabilities. Besides, The Center truly believes in the concept of "Sports for Development" which goes hand in hand with the graceful objective of United Nations which sees sports as a tool of enrichment among groups of all ages. Thus said, the Center strives to achieve the highest level of Sporting Excellence and seeks to provide to the unfortunately underprivileged and pathetically marginalized girls in the nearby slum area of our NGO access to participation in regular, recreational as well as competitive sport. Moreover, the Center also seeks to support highly talented and motivated athletes in the Sport of Kho-Kho and Kabaddi in their quest to achieve sporting excellence. Objective:- "To provide underprivileged and marginalized child in the slum adjacent to the NGO, the right to play that ensures their holistic development and fosters their growth as confident and competent learners, as well as to support those that have the talent and desire, to excel at an elite level."
