Water User Associations which are created as a part of strengthening community based Institutions under WBADMIP are lending their support to Kerala Flood Relief fund.

With a focus on increasing the Livelihood income among the small and marginal farmers, Horticulture Orchard Development program has been undertaken in the 5 priority districts of Purulia, Bankura, Birbhum, Paschim Medinipur and South 24 Paraganas covering an area of 326 Ha.

In keeping with the same quote and in order to give back nature all we have taken from it, the farmer beneficiaries of WBADMIP have undertaken mass plantation and awareness drives all throughout the project's target areas in the state. The vision is to plant around as many as 10 lakh trees in the current financial year.
What is more unique and heartwarming at the same time about the plantation drives is that most of the tree saplings are being bought by the farmers themselves. And it's nothing less than highly commendable!
