Hon'ble Ramdas Athawale, Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, had a successful discussion about West Bengal State meeting on 7th April 2026 with National President Bharatiya Janata Majdoor Cell Dr Arnab Chatterjee, National Vice President Bharatiya Janata Majdoor Cell Armaan Ganguly, Tripura State President Bharatiya Janata Majdoor Cell Jabed Minha , Laxman Nayak and other prominent leaders.

The meeting likely focused on strategies for the upcoming 2026 West Bengal Assembly Elections, where the BJP is gearing up to challenge the ruling Trinamool Congress. The party has set up a committee to draft its election manifesto and is focusing on issues like corruption, infiltrators, and economic development.

Today, a significant organizational meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Majdoor Cell was held today in Kolkata, West Bengal under the leadership of Shri Sukumar Das, State Chairman, West Bengal, and Shri Soumya Shankar Bose, State President, West Bengal. The meeting was conducted in the esteemed presence of Dr. Arnab Chatterjee, National President, and Shri Armaan Ganguly, National Vice President of the Bharatiya Janata Majdoor Cell.

The meeting primarily focused on strategic planning and preparations for the upcoming West Bengal Legislative Assembly Elections, comprising 294 seats across the state.

Members from all districts of West Bengal were also present in the meeting, reflecting strong organizational unity and widespread participation from across the state.

After detailed discussions and deliberations, it was unanimously resolved that all members of the Bharatiya Janata Majdoor Cell across West Bengal will actively extend their full support to the Bharatiya Janata Party in the forthcoming elections.

As part of this commitment, the organization will undertake extensive grassroots-level campaign activities throughout all 294 Assembly constituencies. These activities will include wall writing, postering, banner displays, and organizing rallies in support of Bharatiya Janata Party candidates.

The leadership emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts, discipline, and dedication among all members to ensure a strong and effective campaign across the state.

The meeting concluded with a collective pledge to work tirelessly for the success of Bharatiya Janata Party candidates in all constituencies of West Bengal.
