Christmas Comes Early for 12 Lakh Families. On the Chief Minister's instructions, the West Bengal government is sending ₹60,000 to 12 lakh consumers as part of the Banglar Bari project's first installment. With ₹7 lakh consumers already receiving the funds in just 4 days, the remaining amount is being processed. Plus, another 16 lakh people will receive the funds in two installments - 8 lakh by May-June 2025 and the second by December.
