the educational hotel visit for AU Ranaghat F&B Batch 1 students was successfully conducted.

The visit was organized at JW MARRIOT, located in Newtown, on 26.02.2026. During the visit, students were given practical exposure to various departments including Food & Beverage Service, Kitchen Operations, Front Office, and Housekeeping.

The hotel management provided detailed demonstrations and interacted with the students, explaining operational procedures, service standards, hygiene practices, and customer handling techniques. The session was highly informative and helped bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical industry exposure.

The program was conducted smoothly and achieved its intended learning objectives.

An initiative has been taken by the Sub-Divisional Administration, with the support of Utkarsh Bangla, Ranaghat,Nadia to form an active guide group to generate interest among outside tourists in the tourist attractions of Shantipur, Phulia, and Dignagar.

As part of the preliminary field survey for this initiative, a tour is being conducted today, 18th February, with a group of tourists. In total, around 45–50 people have participated.

Along with promoting local tourism, a tableau by Shreema Mahila Samiti is accompanying the tour to collect public signatures and spread awareness messages on issues such as the eradication of child marriage and our Training Partner Santipur Artisan also join with us

১৬ ই ফেব্রুয়ারি, ২০২৬ ~ উৎকর্ষ বাংলা প্রকল্পের ১০ বছর পূর্তি উপলক্ষ্যে নদীয়া জেলা প্রশাসন এবং কল্যানী মহকুমা প্রশাসন এর উদ্যোগে কল্যানী ঋত্বিক সদনে একটি বর্ণাঢ্য অনুষ্ঠান - "উৎকর্ষের মহা উৎসবের" আয়োজন করা হয়। উক্ত অনুষ্ঠানে সভাপতিত্ব করেন - মাননীয় অতিরিক্ত জেলা শাসক, কল্যানী মহকুমা প্রশাসক, কল্যানী পৌর পিতা মহাশয় এবং অন্যান্য বিশিষ্ট আধিকারিক বৃন্দ।
এই উৎসবে অংশ নেন ৪০০ র বেশি উৎকর্ষ বাংলা প্রকল্পে ইচ্ছুক ছাত্র ছাত্রী এবং ১০ টির ও বেশি উৎকর্ষ বাংলার প্রশিক্ষন কেন্দ্র এর পরিচালকরা।

*স্বামী বিবেকানন্দের ১৬৪ তম জন্মজয়ন্তী উপলক্ষ্যে জাতীয় যুব দিবসে, কল্যাণী মহকুমার উৎকর্ষ বাংলা পরিবারের* পক্ষ থেকে *তিনটি বর্ণাঢ্য 'যুব র‍্যালি'* আয়োজন করা হয়েছে তিনটি ব্লকে- চকদহ, কল্যাণী ও হরিণঘাটাতে। এই 'যুব র‍্যালি ' তে অংশগ্রহণ করেছিলেন *প্রায় ৩০০ এর বেশী উৎকর্ষ বাংলা* প্রকল্পের অধিনস্ত ছাত্রছাত্রীরা, ছিল উৎকর্ষ বাংলা প্রকল্পের প্রচার ভ্যান, লিফলেট বিতরণ হয় এলাকার মানুষদের মধ্যে। 'যুব র‍্যালি' এর পাশাপাশি, এইদিন কল্যাণী মহকুমার পৌরসভা ও ব্লকের বিভিন্ন জায়গায় 'উৎকর্ষ বাংলা' প্রকল্পের সম্বন্ধে "মোবিলাইজেশন ক্যাম্প" অনুষ্টিত হয়। এই দিনটি উদযাপনের মধ্যে দিয়ে কল্যাণী মহকুমার উৎকর্ষ বাংলা পরিবারের লক্ষ্য ছিল যুব সমাজকে পথ দেখানো, তাদের আত্মবিশ্বাসী করে তোলা এবং উৎকর্ষ বাংলা প্রকল্পের সঙ্গে তাদের যুক্ত করা। স্বামী বিবেকানন্দ যে শক্তিশালী, সচেতন এবং আত্মনির্ভর যুব ভারতের স্বপ্ন দেখেছিলেন, সেই চিন্তাভাবনাকে এগিয়ে নিয়ে যাওয়ার জন্যই এই দিনটি পালন করা হয়।
