The Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India, is operating Divya Bot (WhatsApp Chatbot: 9646622622 | Voice Bot: 011-44739626) to provide authentic information relating to various disability-related matters concerning Persons with Disabilities (PwDs).

Divya Bot serves as a single-window information platform providing authentic information on Central and State Government schemes, scholarships, educational support, skill development, employment opportunities, assistive devices, UDID, grievance redressal mechanisms and various other disability-related programmes, services, benefits and support available for Persons with Disabilities.

As your organization is actively engaged in the welfare, education, empowerment and support of Persons with Disabilities and regularly interacts with beneficiaries, parents, caregivers and other stakeholders, your organization can play an important role in promoting Divya Bot and facilitating access to authentic disability-related information.

In this regard, a Divya Bot Poster is attached with this email. You are requested to kindly print and display the attached poster at a prominent location within your organization where it is easily visible to beneficiaries, parents, caregivers and visitors.

Further, if your organization maintains an official website or social media platforms such as Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, LinkedIn or any other digital communication platform, it is requested that the attached Divya Bot Poster may also kindly be shared through these platforms. A website banner has also been attached for display on the homepage of your official website, wherever applicable.

The support and cooperation of your organization in this initiative is highly appreciated and will help more Persons with Disabilities and their families access authentic information relating to Government schemes, programmes, services and benefits through Divya Bot.

Important Notification
We are pleased to announce that disabled individuals wishing to participate in the upcoming one-day tour will have their transport fare completely waived, thanks to the generosity of Mr. Javed Ahmad Tak. Nevertheless, participants are responsible for bringing their own personal food, medication, and other essential items, and will be required to bear all associated personal expenses themselves. Only transport will be provided free of cost during the tour. To secure your place, please contact the provided WhatsApp number and submit your UDI card/UDI number. The same number may be contacted for registration or further information. Please note that the tour will take place next Sunday, July 25th.

COMPUTER TRAINER
The Jammu and Kashmir Handicapped Association is looking for a dedicated Computer Trainer from Kulgam District.
*Key Responsibilities: * Teach computer skills to students with various disabilities at a center located in Kulgam.
*Qualifications & Skills:
* Minimum qualification of 10+2.
* Proficiency with screen readers such as NVDA and JAWS.
* At least one year of teaching experience.
* Strong communication skills and a patient demeanor.
*Salary: * Negotiable.
