These newly bought copies of Bhagavad Gita are gifted by Ms Mimansa to our library. 16 copies and I am glad one copy is already taken by Sh Ramswaroop, watchman of the tower CM3 to read.

Noida Public Library has been running for around 20 years in Sector 15 Noida by Noida Lok Manch NGO. I was amazed seeing the working of this library. The library has more than 50,000 books pertaining to all standards and genres. It also provides place for students to sit and study merely at a cost of Rs 10 per day (9.00 am to 6.00 pm) . When I visited, around 100 students were already studying in the reading room. I got goosebumps seeing that. The library has a capacity of 200 students at a time. I often get enquiries where people say that they want a study place as there is no environment of studies in their homes. I would suggest this is a perfect place for them.

I was well greeted by the staff of the library and they showed me around the place. The staff was very cordial. I gave around 100 books pertaining to different genres and mostly related to higher studies (Management, Computers, Commerce etc) to this library.

Later BMB Library got a beautiful certificate of acknowledgement from the Noida Public Library.

Prize distribution to Ms Heeral for winning Paragraph Writing Competition - a book, a pen and a bookmark 🎉🎉

I woke up in the morning today and messaged Ms Heeral if she is available to take her prize and she immediately said yes. It is always exciting to meet Heeral ji. She is full of energy and positive vibes. We met and she hugged me tightly. I responded. We were meeting after a long time. I got in touch with Heeral ji four years back when I had started this library. It feels like I have seen her two intelligent and well-read daughters growing in front of me. We exchanged hugs, clicked photos and talked for a while. It is always lovely meeting her. ❤️

I visited Ek Prayas- Siddharth Memorial Charitable Trust in Sector 30 Noida today where they teach children of Sai Kripa orphanage. There are around 100 students from class 1st to 12th.

As it was Sunday the classes got over early today. I met a cute smart girl Rimpi who welcomed and greeted me. She was studying in ninth standard. She showed me around her class, a big hall. On one wall there were beautiful paintings made by the students. On another the photos of team members. The place was tidy and neat and clean.

I gave around 55 books from first to fifth standard for the children and books related to competitive exams and higher studies for the teachers of Ek Prayas.

I want to thank Ms Kiran because of whom I got in touch with Ms Shalini and Ms Shalini ultimately got me connected to Ms Ela who looks after the studies here.

I thank all the BMB Members for contributing to this cause. Your books are going at the right places.

It was lovely meeting Sh Rakesh Gupta and his wife Smt Aarti Gupta. Sh Rakesh Gupta judged our Paragraph Writing Competition and a book, a pen and a bookmark was a gift from our library to him as a token of love. We are highly obliged. We discussed our interests and our professions and they exchanged some really encouraging and motivating words for the library. Thank you so much for all your time and the chocolates too, they are my favourite. ❤️

Spending some Diwali time with these cute munchkins ❣️

Pinaki NGO is an NGO run by Smt. Pushpa and Sh. Jagmohan who teach children of migrant workers in a park in Sector 116, Noida. Today I met Sh Anil, a retired banker and Sh Chetan, a retired army officer who volunteer and spend their Saturdays- Sundays teaching these children.

We gave around 325 new pens and pencils to these kids. Also around 70 books from kg to fifth standard were given for their studies.

I thank all the BMB Members for contributing for this cause.
