Impact on Fodder Costs

Benefit for Livestock/Poultry: Poultry and dairy farmers may see lower feed costs, as DDGS and red sorghum can be cheaper than domestic soybean meal.

Loss for Crop Farmers: The prospect of cheap imports has already caused domestic soybean and corn prices to fall below the Minimum Support Price (MSP).

The "GM Soya" Reality

Strict Ban Maintained: India has not signed a deal for direct GM soya or corn imports.

The "Backdoor" Concern: The deal allows imports of Dried Distillers' Grains (DDGS), a high-protein byproduct of US ethanol production.

Since US ethanol uses GM corn/soy, farmer groups fear this allows GM-derived material into the food chain through animal feed.

On the eve of India chairing United Nations Counter Terrorism Meeting held in New Delhi.

I would like to say that-

" Democracy is necessary to end Terrorism. Democracy does not mean weak government. It means empowered citizens. And if anyone works against the principles of Democracy, he must be punished as per law. There should be checks and balances.

Democracy is a civilised way of putting forward ones ideas before the government, the government also should be democractic, should listen, not think itself as an authority.

To think oneself as an authority and the citizens as mere numbers, is wrong. Authority is the seat which one is holding. It's the seat which is established as per law, which gets power.

And the seat is temporary. We must honour the seat. Whatever we are in. Citizens must be a good citizen, and a government ought to be a democractic one. Only then the principle's of Democracy can be cherished and lived.
And the concept of a welfare state be established.

To move further No matter what your religion is one must always behave as a citizen first, the primary responsibility of protecting religions of India is of the Government only, we must not take that in our hand.

And whoever takes it in his hand is going against the Government, we must use democractic ways of saying our things, because India is a free and a democractic country. And so are we.

We must not think or feel that we or our religion is threatened. And whoever creates such an atmosphere where people are made to think that their religion is in danger, are ignorant or unaware about the political structure of India. They also can be termed as Anti - India. ( But actually they are ignorant, they must try to know about India. And if they come to know it, they actually will live peacefully I feel, it's the fear which makes them go against the principle's of Democracy.)

Those who do not favour the secular character of India. Suffers from inferiority complex. In a Secular nation are religions are deemed as equal. Because Right to Equality is a right of every one here. One cannot claim it as being the top most religion here, having a majority, it's against the principle's of a democractic nation.

We are not like religious countries. Nor our Independence was achieved on those lines. Yes partition was there, but the people who wanted it, had already moved to Pakistan. We as India did not wanted partition. Pakistan as itself wanted it. Now whoever is demanding for a Hindu Rashtra also falls on Pakistan lines.

India is neither Hindu, neither Muslim nor Christian or Sikh. India is a democractic nation. And secularity falls within Democracy.

हमें ज़रूरत है भारत वासियो को भारत के बारे में समझाने की , क्योकी कुछ हिन्दू हो सकते है , इसलाम हो सकते है , इसाई य सिख भी हो सकते है , हमे ऊंहे भारतीयता के बारे में सीखाना चाहिए , जिस रास्ते पे चलके हमे आजादी मिली उसे बाताना चाहिए , वही हमारा नेचर है , वही हम है . हम सिर्फ भारतीय है . भारत सब कुछ हे. हिन्दू भी मुसलिम भी सिख भी और इसाई भी.
