CGWB, NR, Lucknow organized a Public Interaction Programme (PIP) on Mission LiFE on 04.06.2023 at Lucknow. Total 66 students from three schools have participated in painting, essay and quiz competition. Technical discussions allowed the students to gain a comprehensive understanding about the 75 action points of Mission LiFE and ways to save water.

CGWB, NR Lucknow organized a three-day Training of Trainers (ToT) program on "source sustainablity of groundwater resources" under the Jal Jeevan Mission. 33 engineers associated with JJM from Jal Nigam and UPGWD across 16 districts attended the training. The training included field visits, lectures, and hands-on exercises for planning artificial recharge structures and source sustainability. The programme was inaugurated by the Special Secretary of Namami Gange and Rural Water Supply, Govt. of UP. The training aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of government officers involved in the Jal Jeevan Mission, with plans to extend it to all districts of the State.

Central Ground Water Board, Northern Region Lucknow is organizing "Training of Trainers" program focused on promoting sustainable groundwater sources under the Jal Jeevan Mission from May 24th to 26th May, 2023.
The inaugural session of the program was chaired by Sh Rajesh Kumar Pandey, Special Secretary of Namami Gange and Rural Water Supply, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
The training sessions shall cover wide range of topics, including methods for implementing Artificial Recharge Structures, ensuring groundwater quality, conducting field visits, and providing hands-on training for developing sustainable source management plans.

Under the Compaign Swachh Bharat Abhiyan 2.0, Central Ground Water Board , Northern Region, Lucknow carried out external cleanliness drive at Kudia Ghat on the bank of river Gomti, Lucknow on 20th October’22.
Sri S.G.Bhartariya, Regional Director led the campaign and urged the team to try to adopt the habit of cleanliness in their daily life. The officers and staff actively participated in the cleanliness drive.
