🚨🚨POLITICAL OUTRAGE: Swatantra Bhardwaj's Viral
Podcast Clip Reignites Backlash Over Alleged Assault on CJP Protester's Father and Claims of Political Protection A clip from a recent podcast featuring Swatantra Bhardwaj has triggered massive outrage across social media after he openly discussed violently assaulting the father of student protester Nishu during the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) demonstrations at Delhi's Jantar Mantar.
In the circulating video snippet, Bhardwaj is seen describing the confrontation in candid detail, acknowledging that the assault was severe enough to warrant an attempt-to-murder charge (Section 307). He further claimed on camera that political heavyweights-specifically naming Kapil Mishra and Chirag Paswan-stepped in to assist him, enabling his release from police custody within 24 hours.
The candid admission has sparked furious demands from civil society groups and opposition leaders for the Delhi Police to initiate immediate legal action, take cognizance of the video confession, and investigate the alleged political shielding. Commentators have pointed out the stark contrast between how aggressively student protesters were booked and the leniency shown to individuals openly admitting to violent assaults.
