The top prize went to Iram Jahan, founder of REACT Hydrogel, for developing an antioxidant hydrogel to simplify wound treatment in animals. The runner-up award was won by Falia and Tabish for ‘Saathi’, a platform connecting businesses with skilled professionals. The event highlights the growing focus on nurturing youth-led innovation, entrepreneurship and solution-driven startups in Uttar Pradesh.

Uttar Pradesh’s IT and IT-enabled Services (ITeS) exports have crossed the ₹1 lakh crore mark for the first time, more than doubling in five years. IT-ITeS exports stood at ₹1,01,970 crore in FY 2025–26, compared with ₹48,004 crore in FY 2020–21. The growth reflects the expanding technology ecosystem across the state, with exports compiled from STPI and SEZ units. The continued expansion of the IT-ITeS sector is expected to support further investment and create employment opportunities, particularly for technical and IT professionals.

उत्तर प्रदेश में सेमीकंडक्टर विनिर्माण को नई गति मिलने जा रही है। माननीय मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ जी ने कहा है कि यमुना सिटी में उत्तर भारत की पहली सेमीकंडक्टर इकाई का काम जल्द शुरू होगा। जेवर में एचसीएल-फॉक्सकॉन की चिप इकाई स्थापित की जा रही है। माननीय मुख्यमंत्री जी ने कहा कि उत्तर प्रदेश मोबाइल फोन और इलेक्ट्रॉनिक कंपोनेंट के उत्पादन से आगे बढ़कर अब माइक्रोचिप निर्माण की दिशा में कदम बढ़ा रहा है। प्रदेश में 24,000 से अधिक स्टार्टअप और आठ यूनिकॉर्न के साथ तकनीक एवं नवाचार का मजबूत इकोसिस्टम भी विकसित हो रहा है। यह प्रगति उत्तर प्रदेश को सेमीकंडक्टर और उभरती तकनीकों के प्रमुख विनिर्माण केंद्र के रूप में विकसित करने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण कदम है।

उत्तर प्रदेश में बढ़ते निवेश और मजबूत होते औद्योगिक इकोसिस्टम का असर आईटी और आईटीईएस सेक्टर के निर्यात पर भी दिखाई दे रहा है। वित्तीय वर्ष 2025-26 में राज्य का आईटी-आईटीईएस निर्यात पहली बार ₹1 लाख करोड़ के पार पहुंचकर ₹1,01,970 करोड़ हो गया, जो वित्तीय वर्ष 2020-21 के ₹48,004 करोड़ की तुलना में 112% की वृद्धि है। लखनऊ में आईबीएम, जेनपैक्ट और टेलीपरफॉर्मेंस जैसी कंपनियों की मौजूदगी भी प्रदेश के आईटी-आईटीईएस इकोसिस्टम को मजबूती दे रही है। यह बढ़ता निर्यात उत्तर प्रदेश की आईटी और डिजिटल अर्थव्यवस्था में बढ़ती क्षमता को दर्शाता है।

उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार लखनऊ को आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस (एआई), सेमीकंडक्टर, साइबर सिक्योरिटी, कंप्यूटिंग और डीप-टेक का प्रमुख केंद्र बनाने की दिशा में तेजी से आगे बढ़ रही है। 10वें एचसीएल टेक स्थापना दिवस समारोह में माननीय मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ जी ने आगामी पांच वर्षों में लखनऊ में 50 विश्वस्तरीय एआई स्टार्टअप्स स्थापित करने और उन्हें वैश्विक बाजार से जोड़ने वाला मजबूत इनोवेशन इकोसिस्टम विकसित करने की घोषणा की। इस पहल में एचसीएल टेक को भागीदार बनने का प्रस्ताव दिया गया है। करीब ₹500 करोड़ की इस परियोजना से लगभग 6,000 प्रत्यक्ष एवं अप्रत्यक्ष रोजगार सृजित होने की संभावना है। साथ ही, एचसीएल टेक स्थानीय कॉलेजों के 1,000 छात्रों को एआई प्रशिक्षण प्रदान करेगा। यह पहल लखनऊ को उभरती तकनीकों, स्टार्टअप्स और कुशल प्रतिभा के वैश्विक केंद्र के रूप में विकसित करने की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण कदम है।

Uttar Pradesh Government is leveraging its young and talented workforce to position Lucknow among India’s leading AI innovation cities. Speaking at an event marking 10 years of HCLTech in Lucknow, Hon’ble Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath ji said the state government will work with industry to build a strong innovation ecosystem and support at least 50 AI-focused startups in the city over the next five years. Hon'ble CM highlighted Lucknow’s potential to emerge as a major hub for AI, semiconductors, cybersecurity, computing technology and deep tech, while emphasising Uttar Pradesh’s young workforce as its greatest strength. The growing preference of young professionals to build careers in Uttar Pradesh reflects Lucknow’s emerging potential as a technology and innovation hub.

The visit explored potential cooperation between Uttar Pradesh and Switzerland in IT, electronics, technology and aviation. The delegation inspected key airport facilities, including the terminal, security area, boarding gates, apron and baggage reclaim, while Hon'ble President Mr. Guy Parmelin and senior officials also visited the airside and ATC tower. Developed by a subsidiary of Zurich Airport International AG, the airport reflects the growing connectivity and infrastructure capabilities of Uttar Pradesh. The visit is expected to strengthen economic and industrial cooperation and create new opportunities for investment in the state.
