‘Thank you for being the wind beneath my wings’ Happy Parent’s Day
The Shri Ram Global School celebrated Parent’s Day on 2 nd May 2026 with great enthusiasm and warmth. The event commenced with a welcome speech, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing knowledge and positivity. The Nursery students delighted everyone with a lively dance performance titled “Yes We Can.” Words of Gratitude by Kindergarten Children’s melted hearts of everyone
The school strongly recognizes that parents are a child’s first teachers and play a vital role in shaping their values, confidence, and future success. Therefore, we encourage a strong partnership between parents and the school to support each child’s holistic development.
A series of engaging games strengthened the bond between parents and children. In “guess my Child,” mothers, blindfolded, identified their children by touch. In “Balancing Balloon,” fathers caught a balloon while their children stacked cups simultaneously. Another highlight was a “Create Together” activity where parents and children worked together, showcasing teamwork and imagination. The game “No Peep Papa Feast,” brought laughter and joy, as blindfolded mothers attempted to feed puffed rice to fathers.
The event concluded with heartfelt “Golden Words” shared by volunteer parents, expressing gratitude and appreciation for the initiative. Overall, the celebration strengthened the bond between parents, children, and the school, leaving everyone with joyful memories.

To mark International Labour Day and promote values of respect, gratitude, and social responsibility, SRGS conducted meaningful SEWA activities for students from Grades III - XII. The day was dedicated to appreciating our support staff—guards, didis, drivers, gardeners, electricians, and others who are the backbone of the school.
Students of Grades III – IV expressed their gratitude through goody treats packed with love and personally thanked the staff with warm smiles.
Grade V students showcased their creativity by making handmade cards filled with heartfelt messages of appreciation.
For Grades VI –VIII, a collage-making activity allowed students to highlight the importance of various community helpers through art and slogans.
Grade IX students watched a video on child labour and reflected on the topic, sharing thoughtful views on fairness, empathy, and the right to education, leading to discussions on Article 24 and RTE.
Grade XI students engaged in respectful conversations with the support staff, gaining insights into their daily routines and their dedication for work .
Labour Day at SRGS went beyond celebration—it became a powerful lesson in empathy and humanity. By connecting learning with real-life experiences, the school strives to nurture individuals who value Shram as much as Gyan.
“Shram hi puja hai” – truly reflected in the spirit of our students.
