Had the privilege of welcoming 17 trainee IPS officers—from , , , , , and —who are part of the 47th IPS Induction Training Course, to the UP Police Social Media Centre.

It was exciting to show how this digital nerve-centre keeps citizens and police connected in real time:
• Rapid grievance redressal through social platforms
• Swift fact-checking to stop misinformation in its tracks
• Highlighting commendable policing that builds public trust and transparency

These future leaders experienced first-hand how technology and community engagement strengthen the bridge between law enforcement and citizens—proof that smart policing isn’t the future, it’s the present.
