The highlight was a *Poetry Competition* on the *theme of Earth Day*, where students expressed their love and concern for the planet through creative and thoughtful poems. 🌍✨

The activity encouraged them to understand the importance of protecting nature and adopting eco-friendly habits.

Earth Day was joyfully celebrated on 22nd April 2026 at the Junior Wing of Delhi Public School, Gomti Nagar Extension. Our little learners participated with great enthusiasm, making the day truly special. 🌱 Children brought seeds from home and created seed balls using soil, learning how these small efforts can help grow plants and nurture our environment. Adding to the excitement, a potter was invited to demonstrate the art of making clay diyas, and students thoroughly enjoyed this hands-on, creative experience. 🪔 The celebration was a perfect blend of fun and learning, helping young minds understand the importance of protecting our planet. 🌿 The day concluded with happy smiles and a heartfelt promise to care for and save Mother Earth. 💚

Earth Day was celebrated on 22.04.26 at Delhi Public School, Junior Branch, Gomti Nagar Extension, Lucknow.
The celebration began with a special assembly, where teachers presented a story enactment highlighting the importance of segregating dry and wet waste. This was followed by engaging activities such as seed ball making and “Pottery Palooza,” encouraging children to connect with nature and understand the importance of environmental conservation. 🌍🌱

DPS Cambridge learners celebrated World Earth Day with great enthusiasm and creativity, engaging in a range of meaningful activities that promoted environmental awareness. Students participated in pottery and “Best Out of Waste” activities, where they transformed everyday materials into beautiful and useful creations, learning the importance of sustainability in a fun, hands-on way.
