A spectacular celebration of glamour, creativity, and talent at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow on May 30th.

Bollywood actress Soha Ali Khan graced the stage as the showstopper, while a dazzling lineup of supermodels, including Sonalika, Jesse Randhawa, Alicia Raut, and Nyonika Chatterji, along with international models, lit up the runway. Femina Miss India Pankhuri Gidwani also walked the ramp and received a special felicitation.

The event was honored by the presence of esteemed guests, including Ms. Aparna Yadav, Mr. Dinesh Sharma (Hon'ble Mayor), and other dignitaries.

The highlight was the fashion show competitions for AIFT students, showcasing their unique themes and designs.

Fashion Festival 2016
On 24th May 2016, Asma Hussain Institute of Fashion Technology hosted its annual celebration, Fashion Festival 2016, featuring a Seminar on Craft Tourism in UP and a vibrant Handicraft Exhibition at Paryatan Bhawan, Lucknow.

The event was inaugurated by Chief Guest H.E. Shri Ram Naik, Governor of Uttar Pradesh, along with Guests of Honor Mr. Pravir Kumar (APC, Govt. of UP) and Mr. Ammar Rizvi (Former Minister).
Judges included Nida Mehmood, Mohit Keserwani, Asma Hussain, & Mr. Anis Ansari (IAS Rtd.).

Every year, Fashion Festival brings together young creators who participate in a range of events, promoting awareness, heritage, and empowering talented youth.

Each edition is themed around a global fashion capital, with the venue transformed to reflect the city’s culture and grandeur, transporting the audience into its world.

Exploring the rich cultural heritage of our city! AIFT students had an enriching visit to the iconic Lal Baradari, immersing themselves in the captivating history and stunning architecture. This field trip was a valuable learning experience, inspiring our future designers and artists to draw creative insights from the past ✨

Anandiben Patel and Guest of Honour Mr. Siddharth Nath Singh, we celebrated the achievements of 32 remarkable women who completed their training in Chikankari and Dress Making.

On October 2nd, under the esteemed presence of Hon'ble Governor of UP, Smt. Anandiben Patel, a one-of-a-kind fashion show unfolded at Raj Bhawan, marking the grand finale of the 'Swachhata Hi Sewa' campaign (Sept 18 – Oct 2).

Curated by renowned designer Asma Hussain, the show celebrated sustainability and social inclusion, with heart-touching participation from children of Raj Bhawan School, Reform Homes, and Ummeed NGO.
