The city is also known for its 'Nafazat & Nazakat' which is also part of its culture. Kathak, one of the main dance form of India has originated from this city. haraj are from this city. In 1980, Bimb Kala Kendra was established with the efforts of Cultural Enthusiast CA B.B. Jindal, Poet, Writer, Satirist & Theater Artist Er. Rajesh Arora 'Shalabh', Play Director Shri Satendra Kumar & Dance Director Prof. The main objective of 'Bimb' is to promote Cultural, Literary & Social activities and to provide a forum to the budding artists specially new comers to showcase their art creativity & talent. Since its inception in the year 1980, Bimb has to its credit numerous programmes, functions & events which includes number of Theater Plays, Cultural & Musical Evenings, Ghazal Nights and Kavi Sammelans etc. Besides this Bimb has also felicitated renowned persons from time to time in the field of Art, Culture & Literature. Round Table Workshops, Seminar & Symposium are also organized at times. Social Welfare has also been one of the main objectives of Bimb and in this regard it has done its responsibility by helping the downtrodden & people at grass root level by providing them with monetary help, material distribution & helping them in their skill development. Saxena, the renowned Satirist, Poet, Script & Play Writer and Author has been its Patron in Chief for a long time who recently passed away. People from every walks of life are members of Bimb.
