70 enthusiastic B.Tech Biotechnology students from SR Institute of Management and Technology, Lucknow visited CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research (CSIR-IITR), Lucknow. The visit provided valuable insights into cutting-edge research, laboratory practices, and career opportunities in the field of life sciences. Students also gained hands-on exposure to advanced instrumentation facilities such as SEM, TEM, TDIC, and other analytical facilities.

During the visit, students and faculty had an enriching interaction with Dr. Bhaskar Narayan, Director, CSIR-IITR, along with other Scientists.

दिनांक 30 मार्च 2026 को सीएसआईआर-आईआईटीआर स्टाफ क्लब द्वारा “अभिनंदन एवं आभार समारोह” बड़े ही गरिमामय वातावरण में आयोजित किया गया। इस अवसर पर संस्थान में नए सदस्यों का स्वागत, अभिनंदन एवं परिचय कराया गया।
कार्यक्रम के दौरान श्री कलीम (वरिष्ठ तकनीशियन) एवं श्री अशोक पाठक (वरिष्ठ तकनीशियन), जो संस्थान से सेवानिवृत्त हो रहे हैं, उनके अभूतपूर्व योगदान के लिए हार्दिक आभार व्यक्त किया गया।
इस अवसर पर स्टाफ क्लब के सभी सदस्य उपस्थित रहे। दोनों सदस्यों के परिजनों द्वारा भी अपने भावपूर्ण संदेश साझा किए गए। डॉ. भास्कर नारायण, निदेशक एवं अध्यक्ष, स्टाफ क्लब, आईआईटीआर ने दोनों के स्वस्थ, सुखद एवं उज्ज्वल भविष्य की कामना की। डॉ. मनोज, महासचिव, स्टाफ क्लब ने धन्यवाद ज्ञापन प्रस्तुत किया।
सीएसआईआर-आईआईटीआर में अपने लंबे कार्यकाल के दौरान, दोनों सदस्यों ने निरंतर समर्पण, उत्कृष्ट विशेषज्ञता एवं अनुकरणीय कार्य-नीति का परिचय दिया। समस्त सीएसआईआर-आईआईटीआर परिवार उनकी सेवाओं के प्रति अपनी गहरी कृतज्ञता व्यक्त करता है। संस्थान के लक्ष्यों एवं उद्देश्यों की प्राप्ति में आप दोनों का योगदान अत्यंत सराहनीय रहा है।

As part of the JIGYASA initiative, students from Nindura, Lucknow visited CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research (CSIR-IITR), Lucknow on 25th March 2026 for a one-day educational exposure visit.

The visit commenced with an introductory movie presentation, which provided the students with an overview of CSIR-IITR, its research areas, and its contributions to science and society. This session helped the students understand the institute’s role in scientific innovation and toxicological research.

Following the introduction, the students were taken on guided visits to various advanced laboratories and research facilities within the institute. During the visit, they explored the following facilities:
• Analytical Chemistry Laboratory
• 3D Bioprinting Facility
• Environmental Monitoring Hub
• SEM-TEM Facility
• Flow Cytometry Facility
• Computational Toxicology Division

At each facility, the students were introduced to the instruments, ongoing research activities, and practical applications of the technologies being used. The scientists and technical experts explained the functioning of the equipment and shared insights into how these research tools contribute to solving real-world scientific and environmental challenges.

A key highlight of the visit was the interactive session with scientists, where students had the opportunity to ask questions, discuss scientific concepts, and learn about career pathways in research and innovation. The interaction was highly engaging and inspired curiosity among the students.

Overall, the visit was an enriching and informative experience for the students. It provided them with valuable exposure to cutting-edge scientific research and motivated them to develop a deeper interest in science and technology.

सीएसआईआर - भारतीय विषविज्ञान अनुसंधान संस्थान (सीएसआईआर-आईआईटीआर), लखनऊ में दिनांक 23 मार्च, 2026 को हिंदी कार्यशाला के अंतर्गत एक दिवसीय प्रशिक्षण एवं अभ्यास कार्यशाला का आयोजन किया गया। व्याख्यान में बतौर मुख्य अतिथि, डॉ. शशी पाल सिंह, वैज्ञानिक 'एफ' & परियोजना निदेशक, सी-डैक की गरिमामयी उपस्थिती रही। कार्यशाला के दौरान में उन्होनें भारती- बहुभाषी अनुवाद सारथी,हिंदी शब्द-सिंधु,भारती संग्रह पर प्रशिक्षण प्रदान दिया।
इससे पूर्व डॉ. आलोक कुमार पाण्डेय, वरिष्ठ प्रधान वैज्ञानिक ने सभा का स्वागत किया तथा उन्होनें कार्यक्रम की उत्पत्ति पर प्रकाश डाला।
इस दौरान सभागार में वैज्ञानिक, तकनीकी स्टाफ, अधिकारी, कार्मिकों व शोध छात्रों की बढ़ी संख्या में उपस्थिती रही तथा सीआरके परिसर में कार्यरत वैज्ञानिक व कार्मिकों ने ऑनलाइन माध्यम से प्रतिभागिता की।
डॉ. भास्कर नारायण, निदेशक, सीएसआईआर-आईआईटीआर ने अपने अध्यक्षीय सम्बोधन में संस्थान में राजभाषा संबंधी हो रही गतिविधियों पर प्रकाश डाला व भारती- बहुभाषी अनुवाद सारथी जैसे टूल्स के उपयोग पर ज़ोर दिया।
श्री कृष्ण राज सिंह, प्रशासनिक अधिकारी, सीएसआईआर-आईआईटीआर ने समारोह के अंत में धन्यवाद ज्ञापन दिया। कार्यक्रम के दौरान मंच का संचालन श्री शुभांग मिश्रा ने किया।

A group of 75 students along with a faculty member from Chandigarh University, Unnao Campus, Lucknow, and 20 PG doctors along with a faculty member from the State Ayurvedic Hospital, Lucknow visited CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research (CSIR-IITR), Lucknow on 18.03.2026. During the visit, participants were provided a guided tour of major research facilities including SEM & TEM laboratories, the Analytical Facility, TDIC, and CRTDH. The exposure offered them a closer understanding of advanced scientific instruments and ongoing research activities in the field of toxicology and allied sciences.
