Staff and Trainees of NSTI Ludhiana celebrated International Yoga Day today i.e 21st June, 2025

Shri Atul Kumar Tiwari, IAS, Secretary of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, visited NSTI/RDSDE Punjab on 31/05/2025. He toured the NSTI Ludhiana campus and met with industry representatives to discuss the government's new initiative for upgrading five NSTIs across India. The project will establish Centres of Excellence in Ludhiana, focusing on textile, apparel, sports, and agriculture sectors.

Key participants included Ms. Amrit Singh, IAS, MD of Punjab Skill Development Mission, and representatives from industries like Hero Cycles, Trident Group, Vardhman Group,CII and Mahindra Swaraj. Shri Tiwari also visited the Multi Skill Development Centre, ITI Ludhiana, Jan Shikshan Sansthan, and textile industry plants to explore collaboration opportunities. The visit emphasized MSDE's commitment to strengthening skill development infrastructure and industry connections in Punjab.

CITS 2025-26 Online Registration date extended up to 04 June 2025

Admission to courses under Craft Instructor Trainning Scheme (CITS) at National Skill Training Institutes (NSTIs) and Institute for Training of Trainers (IToTs) for the academic session 2025-26 will be made through All India Common Entrance Test (AICET), scheduled to be held on 15.06.2025. Applications are invited for Computer Based Test (online) on www.nimionlineadmission.in from the eligible candidates w.e.f. from 08.05.2025 to 28.05.2025 to appear in the entrance test at various centers across the country.

Celebration of vaisakhi festival in NSTI Ludhiana on 16-04-2025.

Sports week organised in NSTI Ludhiana from 10 Feb to 14 Feb 2025.Cricket, Football, Tug of War, 100m race, 400m race, Lemon race, Kabaddi games organised. All staff members, Boys and Girls trainees participated with enthusiasm in all sports activities.

Sh. RC Meena, Director and Sh. Sushil Aggarwal, Joint Director, Schemes, DGT, MSDE visited NSTI Ludhiana on 30 Jan 2025 and carried out meeting with potential Industries on 31 Jan 2025 through offline and online mode for input wrt critical skill gap, specific technology that needs skilled workforce, improving of employability, scope of curriculum design and strengthen of NSTIs under new scheme upgradation of NSTIs upto exemplar status.
