ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ਼ ਬਹਾਦੁਰ ਜੀ ਦੇ 350ਵੇਂ ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਇਕ ਰੋਜ਼ਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨੀ-ਕਮ-ਵਿਚਾਰ ਚਰਚਾ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ

ਐੱਸ.ਸੀ.ਡੀ. ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਦੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਅਰਜਨ ਦੇਵ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ਼ ਬਹਾਦੁਰ ਜੀ ਦੇ 350ਵੇਂ ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀ ਦਿਹਾੜੇ ਦੇ ਸਬੰਧ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਰੋਜ਼ਾ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨੀ-ਕਮ-ਵਿਚਾਰ ਚਰਚਾ ਦਾ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ਼ ਬਹਾਦੁਰ ਜੀ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਿੰਦ ਦੀ ਚਾਦਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੈ, ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਲਈ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਅਤੁੱਲ ਬਲਿਦਾਨ ਕਾਰਨ ਯਾਦ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਜੀ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ-ਦਰਸ਼ਨ, ਬਾਣੀ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹੀਦੀ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਕਦਰਾਂ-ਕੀਮਤਾਂ ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ, ਹਸਤਲਿਖਤਾਂ, ਚੁਣੀਂਦੀਆਂ ਪਾਠ ਸਮੱਗਰੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਦ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਾਂਵਲੋਕਨ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ। ਚਰਚਾ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੁਰੂ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਸਾਹਸ, ਧੀਰਜ, ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਸਹਿਨਸ਼ੀਲਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਬ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਦੇ ਸੰਦੇਸ਼ ਉੱਤੇ ਵਿਚਾਰ-ਵਟਾਂਦਰਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਹਾਜ਼ਰੀਨ ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਅਮਰ ਸਿੱਖਿਆਵਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਚਿੰਤਨ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਇਹ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਗੁਰਸ਼ਰਨ ਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੰਧੂ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਗੀਤਾਂਜਲੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸ਼ੋਭਾਯਮਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਇਸ ਯਤਨ ਦੀ ਸਰਾਹਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਤੇਗ਼ ਬਹਾਦੁਰ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਣਾ ਲੈਣ ਲਈ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਵਰਗ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਾਜ਼ਰੀ ਭਰੀ। ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀਅਨ ਸ੍ਰ. ਭਰਪੂਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਡਾ. ਨਿਧੀ ਗੁਪਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ ਸਟਾਫ਼ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨੀ ਦੀ ਸੁਚੱਜੀ ਰੂਪ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਚਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਚਾਲਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ, ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਹਰੇਕ ਭਾਗੀ ਦੀ ਸਾਰਥਕ ਭਾਗੀਦਾਰੀ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣੀ।
ਕਾਲਜ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਉਤਕ੍ਰਿਸ਼ਟਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸੱਭਿਆਚਾਰਕ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਨੂੰ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹਿਤ ਕਰਦਾ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਤੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਵਚਨਬੱਧਤਾ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

New Initiative

On the occasion of Librarian’s Day, the Library of SCD Government College, Ludhiana, organised a quiz competition on the theme “Awareness About the Library Services in SCD Government College”. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of students, reflecting their curiosity and commitment to learning about the library’s resources and services.

Mr. Vivek from B.A. II Year secured the first prize, while the second prize went to Jashanjeet Singh of B.Com. II Year. The third prize was shared by Jasmeet Kaur of Non-Medical I Year and Ritesh of B.A. II Year.

The winners were felicitated by the College Principal, Prof./Dr. Gursharn Jit Singh Sandhu, Chief Librarian, Shri Bharpur Singh, and Librarian, Dr. Nidhi Gupta. The programme successfully promoted awareness of the college library’s facilities and motivated students to make effective use of them for their academic growth.

ਮਿਤੀ 14/11/2024 ਨੂੰ ਐਸ.ਸੀ.ਡੀ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਦੇ 555ਵੇਂ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਪੁਰਬ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਪੁਸਤਕ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨੀ ਲਗਾਈ ਗਈ। ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਜੀ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਲਗਭਗ 200 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਿਤ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਹਿੰਦੀ ਅਤੇ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਸਨ। ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਟਾਫ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੁਚੀ ਦਿਖਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੜ੍ਹਨ ਲਈ ਇਸ਼ੂ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ। ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਮੈਡਮ,ਭਰਪੂਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀਅਨ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ ਵੀ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਸਨ।
