⚠️ ALERT – PANDOH DAM BBMB
In view of continuously increasing trend of Pandoh Reservoir level due to increasing inflow trends and unavailability of Turbines at Dehar Power house, approximately 5,000 cusecs of water will be released through the spillway gates of Pandoh Dam in controlled manner.
This release will cause a sudden and substantial increase in water levels downstream of the dam.
Tourists and local residents are strictly advised to stay away from the river banks and avoid entering the riverbed area, as water levels will rise rapidly.
All concerned authorities are requested to take necessary precautionary measures and disseminate this warning to the public.
⚠️ चेतावनी – पंडोह बांध, बीबीएमबी
ब्यास नदी में पानी की आवक बढ़ने और देहर पावर हाउस में टर्बाइनों की अनुपलब्धता के कारण पंडोह जलाशय के जल स्तर में लगातार बढ़ोतरी हो रही है। इसके कारण पंडोह बांध के स्पिलवे गेटों के माध्यम से लगभग 5,000 क्यूसेक पानी नियंत्रित तरीके से छोड़ा जाएगा।
इस जल निकासी के कारण बांध के डाउनस्ट्रीम क्षेत्र में जल स्तर में अचानक और अधिक वृद्धि होगी।
पर्यटकों एवं स्थानीय निवासियों को सख्त सलाह दी जाती है कि वे नदी के किनारों से दूर रहें तथा नदी के तल वाले क्षेत्र में प्रवेश न करें, क्योंकि जल स्तर तेजी से बढ़ेगा।
सभी संबंधित से अनुरोध है कि आवश्यक एहतियाती उपाय करें तथा इस चेतावनी को आम जनता तक प्रसारित करें।
