Paschim Odisha Parivaar(POP), Mumbai is deeply saddened at the sudden demise of the Renowned Actor, Director and Producer Padmashree Sadhu Meher. His passing away from the earthly world is a grievous loss to his family and society at large.

At this crucial moment of grief for the Meher family, Paschim Odisha Parivaar and Juhar Foundation convey their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved Meher family. May God give them the strength to bear the irreplaceable loss.

An eye check-up camp was conducted by Juhar Foundation, Mumbai in association with Trilochan Netralya at Gangadhar Kalyan Mandap, Barpali recently.

A total of 158 patients were examined out of which 26 patients were detected with cataract and 52 patients required spectacles. Surgery was carried out on 24 patients at Trilochan Netralaya Sambalpur. Spectacles were provided free of cost to all patients. Ten patients requiring further examination and diagnosis have been referred to the Base Hospital of Trilochan Netralaya.

A 10-member team of Trilochan Netralaya led by Dr Adyasha conducted the camp. Smitiparna Satpathy from Juhar Foundation graced the occasion. Juhar Foundation’s representative Sanjita Padhan, VSS Fellow from Kusmunda volunteered for the coordination work at the camp.

Juhar Foundation is a registered organisation with an aim to work for the upliftment of the bottom strata of the social pyramid for development in education and health, apart from environment, sustainability and skill development. It may not be out of place to mention that JF had started and run 13 oxygen banks and one covid care shelter at the time of COVID waves. JF is planning to expand its education improvement program named as VSS Fellowship, through free tuitions in villages.

Today Shri Dipak Pujari , Founder Director of Juhar Foundation Mumbai met Prof. N. Nagaraju, Vice Chancellor of Gangadhar Meher University Sambalpur, handed over a copy of "Janardan Granthavali " written by his grandfather Late Dr Janardan Pujari. He also thanked Prof Nagaraju for blessing the Fellows of our VSS Fellowship project via the zoom meeting on 13th November,22. Prof Nagaraju appreciated the efforts of Juhar Foundation Mumbai and assured all support for Juhar Foundation Mumbai's education project for the underprivileged students. Thank you very much sir for your time on the 13th evening and this morning. 🙏

Today Shri. Dipak Pujari agyan visited VSS Fellowship Centre at Kushumunda and Banjipali, 2 remote villages inside the Debrigad Century in Bargarh district. Shri. Dipak Pujari from Juhar Foundation Mumbai interacted with the students and both the Fellows Sanjita and Tejaswini. The students were happy about the coaching they are getting from the VSS Fellowship project and requested us to continue the same. Happy to know the small impact Juhar Foundation Mumbai was able to achieve with your support 👍

Today our founder director Shri Dipak Pujari visited 2 VSS Fellowship Centre run by Juhar Foundation Mumbai in Bargarh district. They are in 2 remote villages of Kushumunda and Banjipali inside the Debrigad Wildlife Century of Barapahad. He interacted with the students and both the Fellows, Sanjita of Kushumunda centre and Tejaswini of Banjipali centre. In Banjipali about 15 class 9 students were present and in Kushumunda about 12 class 8 students were present. All the students thanked Juhar Foundation Mumbai for helping them with their study by opening the coaching centre in their village. They liked the worksheets on English, Hindi and Maths based on a software English Vani. They have found lots of improvement in their skills after attending the classes. It was a happy moment for us as our small step is changing the life of few underprivileged students in remote villages of Odisha. We are thankful to all the donors for their support. 2. Health: Find the gaps & intervene such as - A. Warm drinking water, B. Ambulances in rural areas, C. Telemedicine
3. Future plans: Pilot projects in Skill Development & Livelihood
4. Robust governance & monitoring framework to be made ready for greater effectiveness & impact.
5. Fund raising for such activities
