महाराष्ट्र जलसंपत्ती नियमन प्राधिकरण मुंबई, विदर्भ पाटबंधारे विकास महामंडळ नागपूर आणि मुंबई अर्थशास्त्र सार्वजनिक धोरण संस्था, मुंबई विद्यापीठ यांचे संयुक्त विद्यमाने गोसीखुर्द राष्ट्रीय प्रकल्पाच्या लाभक्षेत्रातील पाणी वापर संस्था व लाभधारक शेतकरी यांचेसाठी " पाणी वापर संस्थांचे सक्षमीकरण " या विषयावर दिनांक २४/०३/२०२३ रोजी तसेच वनामती नागपूर येथे एक दिवसीय कार्यशाळा आयोजित करण्यात आली होती.
सदर कार्यशाळेत मजनिप्रा अध्यक्ष मा. डॉ. संजय चहांदे, मजनिप्रा सदस्य मा. श्री. संजय कुलकर्णी (जसवि) मा. डॉ.साधना महाशब्दे (विधी) व मा. श्रीमती श्वेताली ठाकरे (अर्थ) यांनी उपस्थित शेतकरी व अधिकारी यांना मार्गदर्शन केले.
कार्यशाळेस पाणी वापर संस्था तसेच लाभक्षेत्रातील शेतकरी मोठ्या संख्येने उपस्थित होते.
शेती व पाणी वापर संस्थांशी संबंधीत खालील महत्वाच्या विषयांवर तज्ञांनी शेतक-यांचे प्रबोधन केले.
१. सिंचन व्यवस्थापनातील लोक सहभाग व NGO ची भूमिका,
२. शेतातील नाविन्यपूर्ण प्रयोग, पिक बदल उत्पादन खर्च व उत्पन्न
३. शेतकरी अनुभव कथन
४. पाणी वापर संस्थांचे लेखा परिक्षण व रेकॉर्ड ठेवणे.

Swatch Jal Maharashtra III
"Let's enable a Water Prosperous Maharashtra"
a Conclave on 'Swatch Jal Maharashtra III' was supported by the Ministry of Jal Shakti, GoI, MCGM, Water Digest on 27th September, 2022 at Hotel Four Seasons, Mumbai. Maharashtra Water Resources Regulatory Authority (MWRRA) emerged as the supporting organization for the conclave.
The First Session on 'Technologies and Innovations in Water and Wastewater Management' was chaired by Shri. Dr. Ramnath Sonawane, Secretary, MWRRA.
The Second Session on 'Integrated Water Management - Water Supply, treatment distribution and Non-Revenue Water' was chaired by Hon. Shri. K.P. Bakshi (IAS), Ex-Chairman, MWRRA.
In which, Hon. Adv. Dr. Sadhana Mahashabde, Member (Law), MWRRA presented a Research Paper on 'Role of Law in Integrated Water Management', She added that the Water being the subject of the State, in order to ensure the effectiveness of Integrated Water Management with reference to efficiency of the tertiary Municipal Sewage treatment system of Central, State and Local Self Governments with the Intervention of Judiciary Enforcement is enabled by the MWRRA. She further highlighted the legal provisions stipulated in the MWRRA Act, 2005.
The Third Session on 'Jal Shakti Abhiyan,' a participatory movement to achieve India's water security through mass awareness,' in which Hon. Shrimati. CA Shwetali Thakare, Member (Economics), MWRRA presented a research paper on Detailed description of mammoth tasks carried out by Government of India and Government of Maharashtra.

Hon. Shrimati. CA Shwetali Thakare, Member (Economics), MWRRA presented a research paper with detailed description of mammoth tasks carried out by Government of India and Government of Maharashtra during Swachh Jal Maharashtra Conclave organized by Water Digest supported by Ministry of Jal Shakti, Department of Water Resources, Development and Ganga Rejuvenation, Government of India. She also explained the role of MWRRA in Jal Shakti Abhiyan in Water Conservation and Jan Aandolan for increasing awareness among the masses.
Jal Shakti Abhiyan is a Participatory Movement to Achieve India’s Water Security through mass awareness was Launched by Ministry of Jal Shakti. It is a Nationwide campaign for water Conservation and Water Security in country with the Theme ‘Catch the rain, where it falls, when it falls!’. All the 729 districts across India were covered in the year 2021. GOI and GoM has completed around 17 Lakh projects and 9 Lakh projects are under construction.

Hon. CA Shwetali Thakare, Member (Economic), MWRRA participated in the Batalik Trek, Ladakh organised by Fit @ 50+ Women's Trans-Himalayan expedition 2022 reaching Highest altitude at 13000 feet. She is committed to spread the awareness of Nature Conservation, Water Conservation, Women Empowerment, Leadership, Importance of fitness for a healthy life and Time Management.
The Fit @50+ Women's Trans-Himalayan expedition was organized by Tata Steel Adventure Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, GoI under the Fit India Movement with a view to make fitness an integral part of our daily lives and bring about behavioral changes and move towards a more physically active lifestyle.
While sharing her experience, CA Shwetali Thakare said that woman is a strong pillar of our society. She needs to increase awareness towards her own health in order to take care of others, she should start taking care of herself on priority. She emphasized healthy environment is the essence for healthy life.
