IAS Officer Dr.Madhav Kusekar has been appointed as the new Chairman and Managing Director of the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC). He has replaced Mr.Shekhar Channe who has retired from the service recently.

Maharashtra's Motor Vehicle Department is going to add 187 more interceptor vehicles in the existing fleet of 76 vehicles in order to enhance road safety and reduce the number of fatal accidents. They will be fitted with speed guns and others gadgets for faceless enforcement.

Great to see positive reception of the new digital ticketing system launched by ! Passengers can pay for their tickets by scanning QR code in new Android Ticket Issue Machines (ETIM) and then making the payment through UPI app.

An Initial Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed between Government of Maharashtra (GoM), Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) & Kochi Water Metro for operationalising Water Taxis/ Vessels on the waterways & coastal areas of Maharashtra.

This Diwali season has shattered all the records for MSRTC. It has earned a whopping 618 crores in these 20 days which was three times as compared to last year. Congratulations team! 🎊👏

To improve last-mile connectivity from 20 Metro Stations, an initiative to deploy shared autos and taxis has been taken. With routes almost finalised, last-mile connectivity to the metro station is set to become more efficient and convenient.

Maharashtra State Road Transport Corp (MSRTC) has decided to start a campaign to ensure the cleanliness of their buses operated within the state. The ST Corporation has also decided to fix the responsibility of cleanliness on the depot managers and impose a fine of ₹. 500/- per bus.

राज्यातील एसटी महामंडळाच्या गाड्यांच्या स्वच्छत्तेसाठी मोहीम सुरु करण्याचा निर्णय Maharashtra State Road Transport Corp (MSRTC) ने घेतला आहे. एसटी अस्वच्छ असल्यास त्याची जबाबदारी आगार व्यवस्थापकांवर निश्चित करून प्रतिबस पाचशे रुपये दंड ठोठावण्याचा निर्णय महामंडळाने घेतला आहे!
