We regret to share a distressing incident that occurred on the **Ahina-Mandhata-Hainsi Road in Pratapgarh, India**, where an **Indian civet cat** was found dead due to roadkill.

The Indian civet (Viverricula indica) is a nocturnal and shy species, often overlooked but crucial to our ecosystem as a natural pest controller.
