Bandra is a suburb of West Mumbai in the state of India, Maharashtra. Bandra is a posh locality and often called the 'Queen of the suburbs'.

The name 'Bandra' is possibly an adaptation of the Persian word 'Bandar', which Duncan Forbes' A Dictionary, Hindustani and English (1848) defines as 'a city; an emporium; a port, harbour; a trading town to which numbers of foreign merchants resort'. In Marathi, Bandra is known as Vandre, which also means 'port' and is possibly derived from the same Urdu/Persian word. Bandra is a posh locality and

Voldemort has been with us for months and we have been trying to get a vet who can operate his upper jaw. We have finally received a confirmation with a doctor with the help of

But we will need a foster home for 2 months(at max) post operative for Voldy to recover. We prefer if the fosters are a family who love dogs.

We are ready to pay if required, our one condition is that the place must be hygenic since infections after operations occur very easily.

The fosters must be at SANTA CRUZ, MUMBAI.

Story you may not know : When Hanuman destroyed his trident of Veerbhadra, he became very angry and attacked on Hanuman with some special powers and Hanuman got puzzled. Very soon Hanuman rose and started attacking on Lord Veerbhadra with giant trees and very heavy rocks and puzzled him. After defeating him he went in front of Lord Shiva and asked why he was battling aginst Shriram while he was a Rambhakta. Shiv replied that he was doing so to protect his devotee. Then Shiv and Hanuman started to fight. Shiv becomes very happy to see his skills and asked him to demand a boon and Hanuman demanded him to return the lives of Pushkal and Shatrughan. Then, Hanuman took the Sanjeevani mountain and Shiv gave them their life back.
Obviously, Hanuman was blessed not to be defeated by any evil powers but as we know, Shiv is the better known for his kindness and mercy. There is neither start nor end of lord Shiva. He is the Mritunjay Mahadev (one who won the death), Mahakaal (the death of the deaths) who can't be killed by anything. Because he is the husband of Shakti so, he is the Shaktiman. He is the undefeated god. After the churning of ocean he drank the entire kaalkoot (halahal poison) but remained safe. He is the master of all the powers.
When lord Rama had to establish a linga of Shiv in Rameshwaram. He ordered lord Hanuman to bring a linga from Kashi. Hanuman went to Lord Shiv and demanded a shiv linga from him. He gave a shiv linga to him and smiled. Hanuman couldn't understood the reason of Shiv's smiling. Hanuman returned back to Ram. When he went there he saw Ram had established a linga of soil and sand. Hanuman asked him -” O lord! I brought this linga from Shiv but you established a linga of normal sand and soil”. Ram replied him that Hanuman was right , he should wait for the original Shiv linga. Ram told him to uplift the established Shivling far from there and keep the original linga on its place. Hanuman tried his best but he failed to do so. At last he asked Ram why the normal Shiv linga was not moving from the place. Shriram replied him educating that where there is love and devotion there is the supreme power. Shiva tattva (element) is in the each particle of the universe. Hanuman thanked Ram for giving him a true lesson.
There is one more interesting myth about Hanuman and Shiv. When Bal Hanuman was blessed by many gods he became very powerful and started troubling the animals. So, oneday when he was about to catch a deer to tease it ,the grasses and the climbers grew very fast at once and arrested him. Hanuman used the power of the entire universe but could't break them. At last, he understood someone was there who was ordering the plants and the grasses. Hanuman requested the unknown power to appear. A very beautiful Goddess with 8 hands, sitting on a lion appeared in front of him and said that she was Vanadurga and she was the protector of the forests . Hanuman bent his head down to pay respect to her and asked the reason why she arrested him. She told him that he was troubling all the animals that was the reason why he was arrested. Hanuman asked her why she got involved in the matter while he was not troubling her. Durga replied to educate him that that was she in the form of different- different creatures and when he (Hanuman) created troubling to them they prayed her nervously to save them. Troubling the creatures means troubling to Durga. Hanuman felt sorry for his behaviour. Durga told him if he promised not to tease them in future and always be a protector for them, she would let him go. Hanuman promised to mata that he would protect them forever and she let him go blessing that he would always be victorious in everything and all people believe in his powers.

Remember the line of Bajrang baan- “Tumhre Bal hum darpat nahi”.

That was the maya of Lord Shiv to make Hanuman more valuable. Indra attacked Hanuman using his Bajra, was also a Shiv Maya. After that Hanuman was blessed by approximately all the supreme Gods. It was Shiv, who took Bal Hanuman to Ram and his Maya made Ram's heart to heart connection with a simple monkey. Ram and Lakshman forced their father to buy the monkey. Shiv became ready to give them the monkey in one condition if Ram give him a place in his heart and Ram promised him that he would always give that monkey a place in his heart.
