My heart cries… my eyes get wet… my mind burns with fury every time I see Girja Tickoo’s picture, so innocent, smiling A daughter of Bharat, in Kashmir she was r***d, cut alive, and her body thrown on the road like she was nothing it was 1990.
What a shame on humanity.
Where was the RSS?
Where was the VHP?
Where was Bajrang Dal?
Where were the social activists who scream for justice?
Where were the newspapers? The reporters?
Where was the Army? The Police? The administration?
Where were human rights champions?
Where was Maneka Gandhi, who speaks for animals, but not for Girja?
Where was the government?
Where were we all?

Where was I?
We all were dead already dead in silence, dead in fear, dead in ignorance.
Girja didn’t just die... we died before her death — as a society, as a nation, as a collective conscience.
And yet, no candle march, no headline, no justice...
A shame that will haunt us forever.
Let her not be forgotten. Let truth scream louder than silence.

Swami Ved Lal Bhat, lovingly known as Pitaji to his family and TOTH to his followers, was born in the peaceful village of Gund Gushi in Kupwara, Kashmir, on HUR CHORAM. The village is special because it houses the revered Sharda Mata temple, where people seek solace and blessings. Legend says that Goddess Sharda once graced the village, leaving her sacred mark on a hillock, now known as Gund Gushi, before leaving the Sharda Peeth Shrine.
From a young age, Swami Ji felt a strong connection to Maa Sharda, which guided his spiritual journey. With the guidance of his respected Guru Maharaj, Swami SHAV JI POOTH, he embarked on a journey of enlightenment. Swami Ji was blessed with a divine DARSHAN of Mata Sharda early in life. His home in Gund Gushi became a sanctuary for saints and seekers, including notable figures like Swami Aftab Ji, Swami Nand Bub, Swami Kral Bub, Swami Anand Ji and many more.

Swami Ji welcomed people of all backgrounds with open arms, spreading love and blessings without discrimination. His teachings promoted unity among Hindus and Muslims, transcending religious boundaries. With a unique Gotra of DEV-DUTT, GAUTAM, KOSHAK BHARDWAJ, Swami Ji's lineage represented wisdom from all directions.

His life exemplified balancing spiritual wisdom with worldly duties, emphasizing the importance of fulfilling responsibilities within family life. Swami Ji's teachings left a lasting impact beyond Gund Gushi, resonating across the Kupwara, Baramulla, and Sopore. He attained NIRWANA in 1987, but his devotees still feel his presence, finding solace in his divine presence.

कुम्भ मेले में एक स्टाल लगा था जिस पर लिखा था - "बुद्धि विक्रय केंद्र " !

लोगो की भीड़ उस स्टाल पर लगी थी !

मैं भी पहुंचा तो देखा कि उस स्टाल पर
अलग अलग शीशे के जार में कुछ रखा
हुआ था !

एक जार पर लिखा था-
कश्मीरी ब्राह्मण की बुद्धि- 100 रुपये किलो

दूसरे जार पर लिखा था -
गुर्जरों की बुद्धि- 1000 रुपये किलो

तीसरे जार पर लिखा था-
दलितों की बुद्धि- 2000 रुपये किलो

चौथे जार पर लिखा था-
मुस्लिम की बुद्धि- 50000 रुपये किलो

मैं हैरान कि इस दुष्ट ने कश्मीरियों ब्राह्मण की बुद्धि की इतनी कम कीमत क्यों लगाई?

गुस्सा भी आया कि इसकी इतनी मजाल,
अभी मजा चखाता हूँ।

गुस्से से लाल मै भीड को चीरते हुआ..
दुकानदार के पास पहुंचा और
उससे पूछा कि तेरी हिम्मत कैसे हुयी जो काश्मीरी ब्राह्मण की बुद्धि इतनी सस्ती बेचने की ?

उसने मेरी तरफ देखा और मुस्कराया,
हुजूर बाजार के नियमानुसार...

जो चीज ज्यादा उत्पादित होती है,
उसका रेट गिर जाता है !

आपलोगो की इसी बहुतायत बुद्धि
के कारण ही तो आपलोग दीनहीन पड़े हैं !

राजनीति में कोई पूछने वाला भी नहीं है आपलोगों को..

स्वर्णिम इतिहास होने के बावजूद विकास की धारा से हट चुके हैं आप लोग....

सब एक दूसरे की टांग खींचते हैं
और सिर्फ अपना नाम बडा देखना
चाहते हैं...

किसी को सहयोग नहीं करते...
काम करने वाले की आलोचना करते है...
और नीचा दिखाते हैं...!

आज हर जाति में एकता देखने को मिलती है सिर्फ काश्मीरी ब्राह्मण और अन्य ब्राह्मणों को छोड़कर...!

जाइये साहब...पहले अपनी कौम को समझाइये और
मुकाम हासिल करिए..!

और फिर आइयेगा मेरे पास... तो आप
जिस रेट में कहेंगे, उस रेट में आप लोगों
की बुद्धि बेचूंगा..!

मेरी जुबान पर ताला लग गया और
मैं अपना सा मुंह लेकर चला आया !

इस छोटी सी कहानी के माध्यम से
जो कुछ मैं कहना चाहता हूं,
आशा करता हूँ कि समझने वाले
समझ गये होंगे !

और जो ना समझना चाहे
वो अपने आपको
बहुत बडा खिलाडी
समझ सकते हैं..!

The Martand Surya Temple, an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to the Sun God, is not only a significant religious and cultural heritage site but also holds immense historical importance. However, over time, the temple has fallen into a state of disrepair, and it is imperative to undertake restoration and rebuilding efforts to preserve this invaluable monument for future generations.

Therefore, I request the following information:

1. Please provide details of any plans, proposals, or initiatives by the government or any relevant authorities for the reconstruction or restoration of the Martand Surya Temple.

2. Kindly furnish information regarding the budget allocated or earmarked for the rebuilding of the Martand Surya Temple, along with details of any funds allocated in previous years, if applicable.

3. Please provide information about the timelines and milestones set for the reconstruction project, including any phases or stages involved in the process.

4. I would also like to know if any feasibility studies or assessments have been conducted regarding the structural integrity of the temple and the potential challenges involved in its reconstruction.

5. Kindly share details of any consultations or engagements with stakeholders, including local communities, religious authorities, historians, and conservation experts, regarding the rebuilding project.

6. Please provide any other relevant information or documents pertaining to the efforts to rebuild the Martand Surya Temple.

These individuals prey on the vulnerable, promising quick fixes, enlightenment, and success, only to deliver disappointment and deception.

Fake gurus often employ persuasive tactics to attract followers, presenting themselves as enlightened beings or experts in their field. They may boast about their supposed accomplishments, flaunt material wealth, or use elaborate marketing strategies to create an illusion of authority and wisdom. Their charisma and confidence can be convincing, drawing in unsuspecting seekers who are desperately searching for guidance and meaning in their lives.

One of the hallmarks of a fake guru is their focus on profit over genuine spiritual or personal growth. Behind the facade of spirituality or self-help, their primary motivation is often financial gain, exploiting the trust and vulnerability of their followers for personal enrichment.

Another red flag is the lack of transparency and accountability. Fake gurus often avoid scrutiny or questioning, discouraging critical thinking and independent inquiry. They may suppress dissenting voices or dismiss valid concerns, creating an echo chamber where their authority remains unchallenged. Genuine mentors, on the other hand, encourage dialogue, welcome feedback, and uphold ethical standards in their interactions with followers.

Furthermore, fake gurus may promote harmful or pseudoscientific beliefs, peddling unverified claims and practices without regard for their followers' well-being. From miracle cures to get-rich-quick schemes, they exploit the desperation and naivety of their audience, perpetuating misinformation and undermining genuine efforts towards self-improvement.
To protect oneself from falling victim to fake gurus, it is essential to exercise discernment and critical thinking. Instead of blindly following charismatic figures or succumbing to peer pressure, take the time to research and evaluate their credentials, track record, and ethical practices. Seek out multiple sources of information and perspectives, and trust your instincts if something feels off or too good to be true.

In conclusion focus on cultivating genuine connections with mentors and teachers who prioritize integrity, authenticity, and mutual respect. Look for mentors who lead by example, embodying the values and principles they espouse, and who empower their followers to think for themselves and take ownership of their personal growth journey.
