A moment of immense pride for all of us at Grey Sim Learnings Foundation (GSLF).

Yesterday, at HCLTech’s 10-year milestone commemoration, our beneficiary Sudhir Kumar stood on stage before the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath, to receive an Appreciation Certificate from HCL Management.

Watching Sudhir receive that honor wasn't just a celebration of an individual award. It was the culmination of quiet discipline, long workshop hours, and the courage to take on a completely new technical domain.

Sudhir began his journey in the Electrical trade at Government ITI Aliganj. In 2023, he stepped into the Future Skills Lab—set up at GITI Aliganj through our partnership with HCL Foundation—to train on high-voltage Electric Vehicle (EV) architectures and diagnostics.

Today, the impact is real and enduring:

a) He is an active technician at Okaya, taking home ~₹25,000 every month.
b) He works at the forefront of India’s clean-mobility transition.
c) He stands as living proof to every vocational student that new-age skills translate directly to market relevance.

Moments like this reaffirm why we do what we do.

Sudhir’s journey reinforces our commitment alongside HCL Foundation: to take vocational education beyond textbook fundamentals, equip grassroots youth with industry-relevant green technologies, and build pathways to dignifying, sustainable careers.

This is one story on stage today. We are already at work in the labs to ensure there are hundreds more tomorrow.

Disaster readiness starts long before an emergency strikes.

At our Bhiwandi center, students of the RAC batch are stepping beyond theoretical learning to build actionable survival skills, which were covered thorough a focused Fire Safety & Civil Defence Training session.
These training sessions are being organised by Grey SimLearnings Foundation in association with Infosys Foundation.

Led by NDRF Master Trainer Mr. Sachin Khedekar (Mumbai), This workshop helped trainees transform emergency preparedness into practical action:

Core Focus Areas:

1) Emergency Response & Risk Reduction: Frameworks for rapid decision-making during a crisis.
2) Basic Rescue & Evacuation: Practical methods for safe casualty handling.
First Aid & Fire Safety: Core protocols to contain outbreaks and stabilize individuals.
3) Through live demonstrations and direct Q&A, students translated safety guidelines into actionable steps.

Empowering the next generation of innovators!

We are proud to see the New Age Skill Training Program in action at government schools across the Madurai District, bringing future-ready tech straight to the classroom.

Implemented by the Grey Sim Learnings Foundation with support from the HCL Foundation, this initiative introduces students to emerging technologies through interactive, practical learning.

Kicking off at Elango Corporation Higher Secondary School in Madurai, students actively participate in hands-on demonstrations, explore basic concepts, and interact directly with trainers to understand real-world applications and career pathways.

With plans to expand to more government schools across the district, this program builds a strong foundation in problem-solving and innovation early on.
