Devik Sparsh Divine Touch was founded by Dr. Shruti Manaktala alongwith a group of 10 like-minded people in August 2014.Our aim is to provide social, emotional and (physical) medical security to the elderly. We believe that every person can pitch in and contribute in their own way towards ensuring that our elderly lead their twilight years in a healthy, happy and dignified manner. Since our primar
y objective is to work for the well-being of the elderly, one of our main undertakings would be to set up day care centers for them. Here, they can constructively spend their time, interact with others of their age and get taken care of medically and emotionally. We do not seek to replace/substitute the family support system, but instead complement it so that our elderly are looked after and cared for in the best way that they can be. Even though our driving motivation is care for the elderly, we understand that there are other segments of the society that need our assistance from time to time. Keeping this in mind, we also aim to provide a better quality of life for the younger and underprivileged sections of the society. Hence, we will also be looking to initiate and implement activities in the following segments:
-Under-privileged pregnant women
-Prevention of child sexual abuse (CSA)
-Environmental awareness and protection
-Providing material aid during natural calamities
