Nodal agency to support and promote startups and innovation in Maharashtra.

Maharashtra State Innovation Society (MSInS), in collaboration with hub.brussels, invites startups and innovation-driven companies from to apply for the Maharashtra Roadshow 2026.

This multi-city roadshow will be held in Pune (20 April 2026), Mumbai (21 April 2026 ), and Nashik (23 April 2026), offering a unique platform to explore market entry, partnerships, and expansion opportunities in Europe, with a special focus on as a strategic gateway.

Through expert-led sessions, participants will gain insights on scaling into Europe, investment and funding opportunities, regulatory and operational requirements, and the overall business ecosystem in Belgium.

The programme aims to equip startups with a clear, actionable roadmap for entering European markets, while enhancing their investment and partnership readiness.

Who should apply: Startups, scale-ups, and innovation-driven companies from Maharashtra actively planning international expansion into Europe.

At the Regional Startup and Innovation Dialogue held in Nanded, reaffirmed its commitment to taking Maharashtra’s startup ecosystem beyond metros and into districts, talukas, and rural communities.

CEO MSInS Dr. Shrikant Patil interacted with students, startups, academic faculty, industry leaders, and ecosystem partners to discuss how policy, institutions, and local innovation can work together to create sustainable entrepreneurship. Conversations focused on agriculture, rural innovation, deep tech, and the role of colleges as innovation anchors.

With initiatives like Startup India 2.0, expanded recognition norms, and the upcoming Innovation City in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra is building an ecosystem where ideas from any village can scale nationally and globally.

Call for Applications: Startup Showcase – India–France Year of Innovation (IFYOI) 2026

Maharashtra State Innovation Society (MSInS), Government of Maharashtra, invites applications from innovative startups for nomination to the India–France Year of Innovation (IFYOI) 2026 Showcase, proposed to be held in Mumbai in February 2026 as part of a flagship bilateral programme between India and France.

As the Heads of both countries are likely to participate, the event will offer high-level visibility and strategic engagement opportunities for selected innovators and startups, along with prospects for collaboration with French companies, investors, and institutions.

Startups demonstrating innovation, scalability, commercial potential, industry relevance, and inclusivity (including women-led enterprises) are encouraged to apply.

Maharashtra State Innovation Society invites applications from eligible startups to design, develop, and deploy “MahaGAD AI Sahayak” - an AI-Based GR Information Management System for the General Administration Department (GAD), Government of Maharashtra.

The selected startup(s) will be required to develop an on-premise, secure, scalable system to support search, retrieval, summarization, and AI-assisted interpretation of AIS/IAS rules and Government Resolutions (GRs) with Marathi and English support and source-cited answers. The solution must include a secure GR repository, ingestion and indexing pipeline (Elasticsearch or equivalent), admin console, and usage analytics dashboards, and must be deployed within Government infrastructure in a containerized manner, in line with the scope.

Interested startups may submit their applications with all required documents and technical details. Shortlisted applicants will be invited for technical presentations and live demo/PoC.

CEO Dr. Shrikant Patil inaugurated the new Incubation Centre at Wainganga Institute, Nagpur, supported and funded by MSInS under Incubators Scheme, to strengthen the startup and innovation ecosystem of Nagpur and the Vidarbha region.

In his address, he highlighted the role of inventions and technology driven innovation in addressing real world challenges and building scalable enterprises. The incubation centre will offer structured support, mentorship, and access to essential resources, helping early stage startups and innovators move from idea to ex*****on.

The centre is expected to become a key platform for fostering entrepreneurship, encouraging local innovation, and driving sustainable economic growth in the region.
