The people, who know my husband, know that he always used to help everyone who approached him. He made arrangements to pay an appropriate amount every month to many of the families, had no or less earnings. These arrangements were ended with his death. Secondly, in India, Art and Artists, except some of them having great name and fame, are in a very bad condition, due to the policies of our govern
ment. Many of the great singers born in India, who made a significance not only in India, but internationally. Even today everyone enjoys their songs. For example Ismail Azad’s song, “hamen to loot liya mil ke husn waalon ne”. But no one is aware of the name of the singer who sang these songs. No information is available about them neither in form of books, nor on internet. No one cares about retired artists, nor for the families of the dead ones. Even on wikipedia, the page named “Qawwali” has none of the names of the Indian Qawwals. It happens to various artists, singersand authors. The situation about unknown artists is worst. They nor have name, nor money or any plateform to present their art. To see these circumstances, I decided to make an organization, named “Aziz Naza Memorial Society”, to take forward the name and work of my husband Mr. Aziz Naza. But as you know, I can’t bear such a big responsibility alone. So I need your mental, physical and financial support to make my dreams a reality. I set some goals for this organization which are as follows. I need your support and suggestions to find them. An effective movement to give a bounce to Indian arts in order that unemployed artists can survive and to give them a better standard of living. To raise funds for organization with different ways, as Qawwali programs, Ghazal programs, Cultural shows, Mimicry shows, Mushairas and Mazaahiya Mushaairas.
· Seminars on various forms of art and artists.
· To release remixes, CDs and VCDs of known and unknown talented artists in order to give them a platform.
· A book on Aziz Naza’s art and personality (biography) in English, Hindi and Urdu.
· to form an art gallery for poor artists.
· To promote Indian art by newsletters, books, magazines, internet etc.
