Growing up is a beautiful journey, and every girl deserves to step into it with confidence, clarity, and care. 🌸

Had a wonderful session with bright young girls of Std 4 & 5, where we spoke openly about puberty, menstruation, personal hygiene, and understanding their changing bodies.

From learning about the reproductive system to discussing the importance of sanitary care, it was all about creating awareness in a safe, comfortable space.

What stood out the most was their curiosity, honesty, and eagerness to learn , reminding us how important it is to start these conversations early and right. 💫

Empowering young minds today for a healthier, more confident tomorrow. 💖

It was nice interacting with Raquel Dcunha - a final year humanities student of Wilson college as she is doing a project on libraries ! It was fun and thoughtful answering questions connected to how I thought of starting one , what difficulties I faced to set it up , what difficulties I face in daily working , what age groups mainly come in to become a member , which genres are genrally picked , who is my favourite author , do I think in today’s world libraries are significant enough ? Has reading declined ? How do libraries play a role in today’s day and age ? And many such questions !!! Thanks Raquel and Wilson !

This time we took up a lovely book on *Fascinating Maharajas of India*
All from different princely states of India !
Kids enjoyed knowing about different maharajas from Gwalior to Rewa , from Nabha to Mysore , from Travancore , Patiala to Bhopal
They giggled as they learnt about flamboyance of king of Patiala - Bhupinder singh
They gawffed at the story of the White tiger from Rewa !
They were amazed to know how Chail has the highest places cricket stadium and
How Ranji trophy has a connect with Patiala Maharaja
They were angry to know that Tipu sultan’s sword is with British museum why not with India
Apart from yes the Kohinoor too ! And many such stolen treasures !

We also did a lovely creative writing activity where 1 child became the Maharaja and the other had to interview him or her !

This was super fun!

Also a lovely maharaja quiz at the end was like a jewel to the crown of learning !

We had absolutely a fantastic time as we hosted a lovely intimate science themed birthday party for this sweet and smart 6 year old !
We had planned the party around the science theme as she wanted a science themed one
So from interesting experiments like the balloon rocket experiment to volcano , from elephant toothpaste to edible p**p station
From science themed cake to science themed food
From crisp white lab coats to decor and ambience , venue and invites we loved doing it all for our student Mehr !
